Are the AP rates rumored to be coming out on Sunday good through 10/1? We are waiting for Thanksgiving rates!

When you call CRO or WDTC, sometime the CM will ask for your email address.

I was told they will use it send you info abour various deals and events. It worked for me for awhile. However, the last few times I've called, they've had the wrong email address listed.
 

I have an exsisting reservation for September, I have APs, been registered with Disney.com since it started, have disney visa, disney club. They always verify my email address when I call CRO. We go atleast once a year, last time was January 2003. We' have stayed at value, moderate and deluxe.

I'm not saying this to brag! I'm just mentioning it because we haven't received an email at all. I haven't even received a postcard for at 2-3 years. I guess it really is just random. I don't get it! I wanna discount too...........waaaaaaa! :(
 
I got the email yesterday. I had an existing reservation at CBR for September, but within 5 minutes I had called and changed my reservation to AKL for only eleven dollars more total for 4 nights!! The res agent said that he would check and see if the code would discount my CBR reservation but I told him no thanks, I would take the AKL. I am a little bummed that I did it so fast, because when the agent asked if I had any requests I didn't know what to ask for, except nonsmoking. Am I too late to ask for anything more?
 
You can call later and put in requests. I always seem to forget something, usually for a guaranteed non-smoking room. (they can be guaranteed for health reasons) They'll just note it on the original reservation.
 
Has anyone tried to get the discount without the PIN number? Just curious if it was worth calling up and asking for the rate without gettingan email.
 
We received the email too. They must know when you are going, we are going the week before the codes are good. Who knows, maybe they want you to make another reservation and come back again.

I also received the email. It must be random, no upcoming trips planned, a baby is due 9/03. We stayed at Polynesian 9/00 & 10/02 and our email was also for deluxe. I didn't call.
 
We didn't get an email but did get a postcard with the $109/nt. deluxe offer. We have never gotten a postcard before and, wouldn't you know, we can't use this one! Oh, well. Here's hoping for low rates in Dec.!

I also received the postcard via an email. Unfortunately, we are not arriving until Nov. 23rd and are unable to take advantage of this great deal:(

Here's hoping they will come out with other offers, codes or AP rates as we get closer. I'm still hopig for AP rates......I just have to be patient.

I'm in the process of planning a somewhat last minute trip to WDW the end of August. Can't decide where to stay, but would prefer a Deluxe resort if it's in the budget. What is an AP rate and would i be able to request one without a specific code?

AP rates are for those who hold annual passes. You would not have to have the pass to make the reservation, you would just have to have one when you check-in. You don't need a special code. AP rates have been announced through 8/23. For check-ins after the date, they have not been announced yet. They are usually in the 30%-50% off range. Check mousesavers.com for updates.

It sounds like you have to give CRO your e-mail when you make a reservation. We just stayed at the Dolphin--a Deluxe, but not an official Disney hotel.
