I have been waiting (rather impatiently!:rolleyes1) for some PIN, either email or snail mail so we could possibly do another trip this August or November. I got so excited today when I saw that email from Disney Destinations . Then i realized after I read and priced out a trip from the email link, that there isn't any discount involved!!!:sad2: How depressing.:sad1: It's basically just an ad from Disney, trying to get me to come. As my DS would say, "what a ripoff!" Has anyone else gotten emails like this, without PIN's?

I got one too like that. I was looking around for the prices of moderates and deluxes just in case free dining came out. The email was about the Animal Kingdom lodge. No pin at all.

DH got one today :( He forwards everything Disney to me, and I was pretty excited....what a let down....want free dining bad.....

Received a similar e-mail today (no pin) - here's hoping for FD or a discount for late October....

I have never received a pin code but I did get the email everyone here got. Man was so excited for just a minute, have read it several times wishing it would magically turn into one with a pin, hahahaha

I got one email, "Game On!", offering a code with a "great deal" -- rack rate during the month of May.

A few weeks later, I got another "Game On!" email, this time offering a 21 percent room/ticket/dining package discount pin -- again, for the month of May.

I hate to say it but Iger is sticking to his guns. There are discounts, yes, but not at the level we saw last year.

I got my very first pin a few weeks ago. Listed for $388 per adult based on double occupancy for 4 nights at a value. It was $80 off total - so basically a measly 10% off. I was pretty disappointed! :sad1:

an actual pin today but it was for Disneyland. It's a year early since we are planning a West Coast swing next summer.

I know what you mean. The only pin code I have received is a value resort standard room for $77.00. That is only 10% off. At the time I could have booked, if the time was right, for less that that using their GP special. What is the point of sending us pins that are a higher price than their advertised special? I don't get it.:confused3

The monthly newsletter from Disney Destinations seldom has a discount offer; unless, it's a general, public offer.

Other e-mails from them are separate and they have the pin codes usually.

I have decided without free dining for Nov/Dec this year we'll skip Disney for this year. We skipped last year, too, but that was intentional.

We are finding other vacations just as enjoyable; so, I need the free dining from Disney or I will spend my money elsewhere.

I too have fallen victim to this cruel prank. I got so excited to finally see an email from disney destinations, just to have my heart crushed when I realize it's for regular prices.

Well, at least I'm not the only one that Disney likes to torture.

DH actually called today to ask if we have a PIN attached to our names. He called saying, "we got this email but couldn't find the code" and asked if we just were missing it in the email, wink, wink.;) The CM was courteous but took about 30 seconds and told DH that we had no codes with our name, thank you, and goodbye!:sad2: Where are all of the CM's that I read about on these boards that are going above and beyond to book with them, like finding "flex offers" or adding a dining plan?:confused3 And why am I not getting them?:headache:

I also don't get why I haven't gotten a code. I am registered with 2 different emails, have saved offers and have requested DVD's with both accounts, and have logged in under both accounts several times in the last few months. I have even done those mind numbing surveys about their horrible website. I'm at a loss.

Oh well, I guess the powers that be are telling me not to book unless FD comes out.
