ELSA dress hunt!!!

I also had two Elsa dolls (Barbie style) that I took back to target yesterday cause a friend didn't end up wanting. Pm me if you'd like me to see if I can get them for you

I know they're not disney but have you checked Etsy? My daughter has some beautiful things from there.

Which one were you looking at? The stores at WDW just re-stocked and those aren't selling very fast...I'd be more than willing to pick one up for you if you're interested.

I appreciate it, she needs a10/12 and they were all sold out. I wanted to get her the pink one with A&E together. I don't have a paypal account, but thank you!

Just last weekend I happened upon an Elsa dress for my granddaughter at Penney's. There were three there and I could kick myself for not just buying the others to offer to fellow DISer's! It was $36. I'm a bit of a snob about the costume/dresses too and the dress from Penney's is VERY nice! If I knew how to post a picture, I would. :confused3 While you're checking the Disney store, check at Penney's too.

They are very pretty! Really similar to the Disney store one! Ive also been stalking my local Penney's and they have nothing.

I had an Elsa dress made by an Etsy seller for my DD. She is 8 but tall & size 12. The dress is cotton, short and soft comfortable to wear at WDW in summer. The store bought dresses are itchy- she had a rapunzel dress last year that was too hot & itchy during our WDW trip last year.

My 2 DDs love frozen, older one wants Elsa costume while younger one wants Anna. I've been checking every morning at 8am. One morning I had both in the cart and when I tried checking out 2 minutes later it was sold out. Really hope they can stock them soon with enough quantity.
Both their birthdays are in May and they want Frozen theme birthday.
So frustrating that Disneystore dot com does not stock enough and the closest store is over 4 hours away.
The stores refuse to ship or hold Frozen items and their sold out within 20 to 30 minutes when store opens.
So even if I call and am willing to drive 4 hours they would probably be sold out.
Very frustrated.

I just returned from Disneyland Paris and they have Elsa dresses in every size! A lady working there told me, they have the dress in every size and have plenty of stock for back up. And more Frozen merchandise than I have seen anywhere!
So it's a little further out but it may be worth a call.

Subscribing: I was on disneystore.com at midnight and they showed the dress but when I clicked on it...All sold out! My daughter that wants this hates hates hates itchy dresses so I may consider getting the dress from little dress up shop. I am just unsure as I have never ordered from them before. :confused3

We are in the same boat with you guys! My 6 year old desparately wants to be Elsa for MNSSHP this year. Finding a dress is becoming quite a daunting task....I did find a few t-shirts on ebay that weren't too expensive...but it's getting really aggrivating that people are buying these dresses up and selling them on ebay for an outrageous amount.

TwoDogs: I totally agree with you about all the shipping charges. I too, grab the few things I want every time they release new stuff...hence paying a shipping charge every time.... Seems they only have some of the things I want each time... so as they trickle different things out...I have been stuck doing multiple orders! I feel like they may do this on purpose.... :(

Makes me thankful my DD latched onto Anna. Maybe the media's attention to the obvious price gouging by secondary sellers will lead Disney to get more of the dresses in stock.

You can pre-order both Anna and elsa inspired dresses from mydressuptrunk.com through tomorrow.

These dresses are nice because they are comfortable, non-itchy and machine washable.

Shipping in July I think

April 18th is last day to pre-order though!

We have Belle and Cinderella dresses from littledressupshop.com. The bodice is a sort of stretchy velvet material (not itchy!) so they accommodate growth nicely. They are also washable and hold up pretty well. However, they are not exact replicas of the Disney dresses. My girls didn't care, but my 6 year old niece pointed out right away that they are not "real" princess dresses because they don't have the little picture in the front. Saturday is the last day to pre-order the Anna and Elsa dresses.
