We are considering an elliptical. Here's my reserve... I used to buy/sell from a local Goodwill auction. The exercise equipment always far outnumbered all other donations (aside from non-working VCRs). That led me to the lifelong conclusion that exercise equipment is a big, expensive, impulse buy. You buy it, use it for a while, get bored with it, and sell it (or worse still... you store it in the basement in hopes that you will some day use it).
So what do YOU think? Have you regretted buying one, or was it a smart decision? If you still have one: How long have you had it? Have you always used it? How often do you use it? Has it helped you with losing weight?
Are there any OTHER exercise machines that work better for you than an elliptical?
All input appreciated in either direction.
To be honest I'm hoping for some really good responses that point the way to weight loss and what really worked for you.
