Rosie said she is not coming back. She is done. I thought it was a crappy way to bow out but that is jest MHO.

I mean the writer, not Rosie. On Rosies Blog she said she (Janette if that is her name???) is coming back and not banished, she's just having a time out" Did something else happen?

She'll be working for Rosie because she's going on tour with Cyndi Lauper's True Colors tour but she's not going back to View. Janette's job at the View was Rosie's Chief writer, there's no reason for her to go back.

Every one of those yentas annoys me. They ought to rename that show "The View ......... from the PMS/Menopause perch".

Any forum ( The View) that will enlighten the American people, works for me..enough with the reality shows etc.....dancing, singing, mob princesses, the real desperate housewives...La La land is Disney World. When I return home I need to know what is going on in the World...BBC. Not Fox News. That's what Rosie tried to do. Ask questions. Find answers. Bring the troops home. It made a lot of right wingers mad. They wanted to kill the messenger. How many times can you kill the messenger? 72% of American's have gotten the message, so it is important to continue to spread the truth.

She's one of the most annoying people on television, for sure. And I am politically conservative, too!

The crazy thing is that I liked her on Survivor. I didn't realize she was so cluelessly opinionated, back then.

So the dog is good enough for the animals that God put on earth for us to survive, but people aren't? Whatever.

I'm vegan and don't expect others to understand my reasoning (which is very personal), but I DO expect some common courtesy. Don't knock my lifestyle or say it's crazy to be vegan, thanks!

Also, it doesn't make any sense to say that we should be on the same level as a dog. I'm not saying people (in general) should or shouldn't eat meat, but it's a little silly to say that because a dog eats meat, we MUST so as to avoid being elevated above the dog.

A few minutes ago, Rosie offered for Elizabeth and her family to go down and use Rosies Miami house for a week as a Birthday present.
Of course this all happened before the fight.
Guess Lizzie won't be taking Rosie up on her offer.

I for one will now stop watching the View. I didn't agree with everything Rosie said, but Joy and Elizabeth cannot carry that show. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being cancelled in a short time.

I hope Rosie reprises her old show format-but limits her political rantings to maybe once a month...

I was very disappointed today knowing this would be the last day of watching The View. Rosie made that show. They can't go back to the way it was before Rosie joined the crew. It was so boring then.

Guess EH won't be spending the week in Miami now. She lost a good friend when she wasn't there for Rosie.

That was really sad. For me it just confirmed my impression that Rosie wasn't fighting about politics, she really viewed EH as a friend and wanted validation.

What i have been thinking all along

I am hoping to catch it tomorrow,to see how they will handle it all, but after that i too don't care to watch Barbra & Elisabeth the 2 most annoying women in television!

Janette has been Rosie's friend for years (back when they both were on the stand-up comedy circuit) and worked as a producer on the Rosie O'Donnell Show. Rosie brought Janette with her to The View. I can't imagine she'd want to stay there without Rosie working there.

I think Rosie & Helene meant that Janette would be back doing the JaHeRo blogs soon.

She meant back to the blog, not the show. Janette was her personal producer/writer, not the View's.

Why was Rosie trying so hard? In life there are times when you just don't get a long with everyone - you have to let it go and learn how to deal with it. Sounds like she has a few underlying issues regarding fitting in.
