Elisabeth Hasselbeck annoys me!

I think Rosie was way out of line today. I've been a fan of hers since she was on VH-1's Stand Up Spotlight even though I'm a proud republican. It was not for Elizabeth to defend her. I watched on Mon. & her comment was taken exactly as our troops are terrorists. I truly think Rosie has lost her mind. A liberal friend says Rosie is the Dem's Ann Coulter and I agree!!!

I watched yesterday's show this morning and kept thinking that Rosie looked very detached. I could tell something was bothering her. I had forgotten about the incident with EH on Monday. Then when I was watching this morning, I realized that is why Rosie was so glum yesterday. She was hurt that EH didn't deny thinking she thought the soldiers are terrorists. It's all over the internet that "Rosie rips into Elisabeth once again". I don't think Rosie cares what everyone in the media says about her, but it really hurt her that her "friend" was siding with the media.

I adore Rosie and really wish the show didn't have to turn to politics all the time. If you left that out it would be a fun show. I have to admit that I was loving the show this morning though. Unfortunately, I had to leave before hot topics was over. Can't wait to get home and watch it.

I saw Monday's show but not todays. On Monday I think Rosie hurt EH's feelings when she said she couldn't hold two thoughts at once. She also implied that Fox was the only news network EH ever watched.

I can see why Rosie feels hurt that EH didn't defend her. But Rosie doesn't seem to recognize that she said some hurtful things to EH also.

I just read her blog and question/answers on her webite. She's got a "wounded puppy" thing going on right now. I think they were both a bit snarky with each other, should apologize and get over it.

I just watched the whole clip again. Rosie is definately crazy. It was all spin. EH answered her ?, she just was talking over her so much, she didn't hear it. Even after EH answered her "NO, Rosie, I don't think you think........" she still kept saying "WHY CAN"T YOU JUST ANSWER ME ELISABETH????? WHY CAN"T YOU JUST ANSWER ME ELISABETH????? " Which makes the commoner viewer (who doesn't really listen) think EH didn't answer. Rosie is insane. Then she just says stuff that is wrong like "when I leave, you say all the rep. crap you want"

I take back what I said about EH as well, she did hold her own, it's just noone can argue with Rosie, because she thinks she is the only source of good and right in the country.

And Joy is an idiot as well. She started off her crappola with "Bush stole the election" (as if that was one reason he should be impeached?) she does realize that was legal , fair and square, and if it has been in the reverse, all of the sudden it owuld be "well, it doesn't matter how close the elect. was.....Gore won"

I agree. They both said some very hurtful things. I don't hate EH at all. I hate when Rosie gets too political, but I still love her. I think her depression is kicking in again. She hasn't seemed herself at all lately. I really don't want Rosie to leave the show, but I know it would make many happy. (many that don't even watch the show and THAT infuriates me to no end)

She started with her list in front of her and said "the country needs to be furious about this, why can't we get rid of this guy (before 2008)" _that implies impeachment to me. Then she started her little list, which was all just stuff liberals don't like, nothing illegal. The FIRST thing on the list was "He STOLE the election in 2000".

yep, that exactly what she said, I heard it on MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS (the one Dan Rather used to be affilliated with ) AND CNN. (It just drives you libs crazy that there is ONE network that isn't owed and operated by a flaming liberal doesn't it?)

Actually, I heard it on The View. All of it. Including Joy reading her list of reasons that President Bush should be impeached. Her number one reason was that he stole the election, her last was that he can't pronounce the word nuclear (of course, neither could President Carter, but that's beside the point).

And, whether you like it or not, Rosie DID equate the troops with terrorists in the way she stated her opinion. I'm sure it's not what she meant, but it IS what she said and it was insulting not only to the troops, but to their families.

I think she'd do well to sit down and watch the show as a regular viewer and really listen to what she says and how she says it. She really needs to work on her delivery. Just because one can yell louder than another doesn't mean anyone will listen. People pay closer attention when you whisper.

By the way, who exactly WAS Rosie implying was a terrorist when she asked "who are the terrorists?". Would someone please anwer that question? What did she expect people to think? We can't read her mind, if she can't articulate clearly what she meant, what are we supposed to think? She wants to be dramatic, and sway people who can't think for themselves (but are somehow able to get to the poles), and say something like "X number are dead in Iraq, now who are the terrorists?" BUT we are not supposed to think she meant that the TROOPS are terrorists. So who ARE we supposed to think are terrorists? - the American people? Bush? well he is our president and the CCO of the troops, so implying HE is a terrorist pretty much takes us AND the troops down with him. So tell me, WHAT AM I supposed to think?

Would you just drop someone you considered a friend just because your feelings were hurt? I certainly wouldn't. I'd want to clear the air ASAP and work it out.

Waiting for an opportunity to verbally attack someone you considered a friend because they hurt your feelings sounds pretty unstable to me.

I think there's a lot more going on than we know. I think ABC hurt Rosie's feelings when they didn't renew her contract. It seems to me that if they wanted to keep her, they would have found a way. I think she's looking for an early out. She may have found it.

I also expect that Elizabeth's contract won't be renewed.

I think she was referring to the current administration, tho she didnt spell that out too well IMO. I think she thought people would just "understand" that was what she meant. She doesnt want people to think shes anti-troops, but instead she wants them home. She did a poor job of making her point I think this time.

Are you kidding? Jumped the shark? Look how long this thread is! People will watch just for the fireworks alone. Honestly, I probably watched The View less than 10 times before Rosie came on. You have to admit, it's a lot more interesting.

I don't know about Rosie and ABC. Rosie had been writing on her blog that she was ready to be finished at The View... I will miss her. The View will be back to boring banter and mindless topics in no time.

Elisabeth should put a sock in it. She has something to say about EVERYTHING it seems and I hate it when she talks all over people. Might be young, but she should still behave more appropriately! Her poor husband must not stand a chance up against her!
