Elf on A Shelf at Disneyland

We are headed to Disneyland the 2nd week of Dec and our family does Elf on the Shelf during this month. Those of you who arent familiar with it, basically an elf sent from Santa watches the kids during the day to make sure they are good and flies back to the North Pole at night to report to Santa. He then finds a new spot in the house or elsewhere to watch the kiddos. We have done fun ones where our elf is doing a different and/or funny activity each day. The kids love to see what he's up to. I wanted to do some fun Disney related ones while on our trip and since you all have fabulous ideas on the boards, I thought I would see if anyone had some fun Disney ideas for our Elf. Thanks!!!

Our kids love the elf on the shelf too. They named ours Thor. Maybe you could get a little toy monorail and have him sit on it like he's riding it.

I've never heard of that. I LOVE the idea!!
Your elf could hang out with your Disney DVDs. Or maybe he could study a Disneyland map. Maybe he could become friends with Tinkerbell.

Elfie comes to our house in December too, and tends to create some mischief while he's waiting for DD to wake up

Could you sneak him into a bag while heading to the parks one morning, and have him peeking out of the bag? Or, perhaps, offer to drop the bag off at the locker, and have him (her?) peeking out of the bag, so when you get back to the locker, a child can find that Elf has been reading in the locker? I'd totally consider taking him on one of the rides and getting a picture, however, I think SO would just about die of embarrassment if I tried something like that! Perhaps have him looking at a section of a DLR map, along with a (elf sized!) note about what rides look most fun? Can you get a stuffed Dumbo, and have him ride it like a horse? (DD always loves when Elfie takes her stuffed animals for rides/walks.) Oh, and if you have a DLR cup, Elf can "drink" out of it with the help of a straw. That's another one that gets DD giggly. Maybe sitting on top of a pair of Mickey ears?

Elfie has become such a part of our celebrations, I'll be sad when DD says Elfie doesn't need to keep visiting. She may be coming home at 39 and still finding Elfie somewhere looking over her

I love that you are bringing your elf! I think we will leave ours at home because she always gets into to so much trouble at our house! However, she is going to be the one to spill the beans and tell DD we are going to Disneyland. I can't wait!
Do you have any tiny Mickey ears? It would be cute to have it posed with those and a little suitcase somewhere to show she was not going to miss out on the trip!

Which I would have known about Elf on the Shelf when my kids where younger. Now I don't think it would be effective with teenagers. Ha!
