We caught the tail enf of Laserman last night. He is pretty impressive. We didn't stay long because we needed to get over to WOC, but thought the whole set up to be very well done. It is worth checking out if you have the time.

Here are some of the highlights:

•Access to Disney California Adventure park at 4 p.m. and exclusive access to an after-hours ElecTRONica experience from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on October 28. (The Park closes at 8 p.m. on October 28, and ElecTRONica normally runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays each week).
•Opportunity to come decked out in your best TRON or TRON-inspired costume at this special event.
•Signing opportunity with screenwriters for “TRON: Legacy,” Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. (This will be limited to 200 people. You may sign up for this opportunity when you check-in for the event on October 28).
•Opportunity to view select props and concept art from “TRON: Legacy.”
•Commemorative Flynn’s Arcade coin made just for attendees of this meet-up.

We'll be there. Actually got the email while at DCA this evening and my dd went straight to buy a Tron tee shirt to wear. I didn't tell her ahead of time just in case we didn't hit the lottery. The funny part was we were in the store (across from Playhouse Disney) and I mentioned it to the CM working, all of a sudden I had 3 CM's reading the email on my phone saying they hadn't heard about it.

Just dropped by to say we were at ElecTRONica Sunday night and had a great time. It was very well done and entertaining. We loved the 3D trailer and Flynn's arcade. I agree with what has been said, wish they would have turned down the overhead music so we could hear the great audio from the old games. I loved playing Centipede!!!!!

Did anyone else get pounced on by the census takers????? We were asked like 5 different times to take their "quick survey" about watching the movie trailer. I guess Disney is really guaging if this type of event will sell more movie tickets?? I thought the whole event was great - but I don't want to see them try and do something like this for just any Disney movie - the setup would have to make sense and be worth it. But I do love the idea of using the Holleywood Backlot area to promote new movies and new experiences - IF it's done as well as TRON was! IMHO anyway.
