Where are the viewing spots for the Electrical Water Pageant? The website mentions a 10:35 viewing outside MK during extra magic hours. Is that correct? Is it possible to see Wishes in the park and then see the Water Pageant somewhere?

Thanks.

EWP can be seen from outside the MK gates down by the Seven Seas Lagoon
(the lake in front of MK.)

But caution: Often the EWP performed near MK has NO SOUND.
It can cause confusion and disruption in the boarding of buses, shuttles and ferry boats in front of MK.

Without sound, it's not a very impressive show.
(Hey, even WITH sound, it's not a very impressive show.)

Electrical Water Pageant

The words conjure some phantasmagorical display of
dazzling lightning-like high voltage interplay with glittering aquatic delights, no?

Well...

My favorite saying about these kind of "simple" things comes from Hawkeye Pierce on the old M*A*S*H TV show.

"It's not much, but it's really nothing."

Although I never miss a chance to see it... inappropriate "over-anticipation"
can be built up over the "Electrical Water Pageant".

People seem to be expecting to see "Spectromagic on the water", when it is really closer to oversized "Lite Brite" pegs mounted on some barges,

with a "Casio Keyboard" music track.

Don't get me wrong, I still love it, and it's a piece of WDW History, but first-timers, please don't get your hopes set too HIGH.

Is the viewing spot at the GF easy to find if leaving 1900 Fare?

We have a 7:25 ADR and I'm just curious to how much time I'll need to find the viewing spot! Thanks!

Your LiteBright description is awesome! Lol

Go out the "back door" of the Main GF building (that's the building in which 1900 Park Fare is located) and walk across the central area, past the swimming pool on your right, and head to near Narcoossee's restaurant.

Look out onto the lagoon.

Is the viewing location for Poly near its dock as well? Or can you see it from anywhere along the beach?

You used to be able to see it best from the beach just east of the dock--I'm not sure that's the case anymore with those silly bungalows going up now.

I completely forgot about the bungalows! We were going to watch EWP and Wishes from the beach after our O'hana dinner but looks like we might have to EWP at WL after our meal at Artist Point. Thanks!!

The bungalows only affect the very eastern side of the beach. However, the plans are to restrict the beach to resort guests only. That has started to some extent and will become more strict when the pool refurb starts. Tikiman has confirmed what I heard as as a rumour that once the DVC is complete access will only be by room key likely via a gated entrance.

Is there a map of the viewing area outside Magic Kingdom?

You can see it from anywhere outside the entry turnstiles, like where the resort launches dock.

Yes. Anywhere you can see the Lagoon in front of MK.
You'd be looking to the south (the bottom) of the map I posted below.

I caution again that the MK is about the least desirable location to try to
see (and HEAR) the EWP.
