Electrical Parade Refurb

Hello Everyone!

Did I hear correctly recently that the Electrical Parade is going down for a long refurb and they dont have any idea as to when they are bringing it back? Anyone else hear this? I am going at the end of May and hoping it wont be down then. I missed it last year and was so disappointed.

DEP has been "seasonal" in recent years anyways and usually not shown in May. With the new World of Color show starting around May 1 DEP will not be needed at DCA a s anight time draw. The rumor is that DLR will bring it back to DL as MSEP as part of the 55th anniversary this year. We'll see.

Yah I know it is a seasonal parade. Ive always caught it at the end of may/early june. Usually after the last grad night in May. But what you say makes total sense. I kinda figured that there would be an issue with the new World of Color starting in May. That would be really awesome to have the Electrical Parade come back to the original park though. Maybe I will have to make an extra special trip for the 55th... Hmmmm
