We are planning a trip in May with our 3 children, ages 5, 3, and 9 months. We want to see both the electrical parade at DCA and the Believe fireworks at DL. We will have 4 day park hoppers but hope to go tues thru friday to beat the crowds. Has anyone seen the parade in DCA at 8pm then ran over to DL to see the fireworks at 930pm. Do a lot of people do this making it a crazy mob at the gates or does it work out great? If Fantasmic were still playing we would stay Saturday too, but I dont want to use a day on our pass for a crowded Saturday just for the fireworks. Please share your stories and advice. Thanks!

Hi popcorn and welcome to the DIS! 
It is very manageable to see the Electrical Parade and then head over to Disneyland for the fireworks afterward. Not a problem at all.
