Electric Water Parade

We will be dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe and I read that the parade comes by at around 9:30. Will we be able to see this and where would we go?

Just walk out to the beach. You'll be able to see it there.

We ate at the WC and then walked out to the beach to see the EWP the last time we were there. You do to the right of the drinks cabana (stop and grab your favorite beverage on your way if you are so inclined). There were seats out there when we went. I have seen the EWP from several locations and this was my favorite as it seemed to be closer.

Make sure you get there earlier than told because we have occasionally been disappointed to hear just the music as the end of the parade disappeared around the bend.

You can trust my information, not only I am a member of the EWP Suite but I am also a former Buckeye.

How long does it take to eat? I don't want to rush dinner, but I don't want to miss this either. About how long is the parade?

Buckeye Mickey, it takes my hubby about 3 hours or so to eat but he is a West Virginian.

For us more normal people I would think an hour or so, not counting how long you have to wait to be seated or if you have kids and they want to interact with the waiters antics.

The parade varies but it about 15 minutes normally, I believe. Sometimes it is shortened but I think it is back at full strength after getting battered by last years storms.

If you are staying at certain resorts you can see the parade from your room if you are facing the lagoon.

Please pardon me but I have lived longer in Indiana than Ohio now so I root for IU (unless Ohio is playing Michigan).

Have fun, keep cool and look for the details, that is where the magic is.

I have not seen a calendar with the water parade listed. Is this scheduled every night? Can anyone give me a link to the water parade schedule?

I will be staying at CBR 8/28 - 9/2 At what time & locations can I watch the parade? I only say it once & that was quite a few years ago. Would love to see it again!

IT IS EVERY NIGHT!

Depending on your location it will be at different times..

its a must see thats been there since WDW opened.

At whispering canyon cafe dinner may take hmm 2 hrs?..believe me whispering canyon cafe is a fun place..and then u go directly from whispering canyon past the pool and volia there is wilderness lodge's nice beach..

where u can view the parade at yes about 9:30 pm every night

The Locations + Times::::

Polynesian Resort -- 9 p.m.
Grand Floridian -- 9:15 p.m.
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35 p.m.
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45 p.m.
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05 p.m.
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20 p.m. (only during extended MK park
hours)

Note that when the Magic Kingdom Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m., the Electrical Water Pageant runs about 7-20 minutes later.

Our ressies are for 8 at WCC, so I quess I'll hope we're out in time to see the MK. Where are they seen from? Would we be able to see them from the boat that transports you from the lodge to MK?

Buckeye Mom, if you are concerned might you be able to change your ressie time?

It is not far from the dining room to the beach, if you are not as slow as I am.

I do not know for certain but am guessing that you might be able to see a bit of it from the boat but since you are headed for MK anyway maybe you could catch them there before you go into the park (is it a late night that night)?

If you should fall in love with the EWP you are most welcome to come and visit or join us over at the Community Board for the EWP Suite. We have a virtual suite overlooking the lagoon with private nightly viewings, unlimited credit cards to endulge our every desire and no calorie treats to enjoy non stop. My idea of heaven!!

Best places in my opinion are Polynesian, Contemporary, Grand Floridian Resorts. Hope you enjoy it. As for times, they are posted here or ask when you get there.
