Electric Water Parade outside MK time/location TODAY 5/9

Please help! I can't find my notes. What time should we be able to see the water parade tonight? We will be at MK tonight I can't find the schedule and my daughter wants to see it. Thanks!

Be aware that if they perform the EWP near the MK, they often do so without the music.

The music can cause too much "commotion" for guests exiting the MK, so they just show the lights of the "show."
And, the "show" is not much without the music.
(Heck, it's barely anything WITH the music! )

So, if you want to really see it, you need to go to one of the MK area resorts' beaches/boat docks.

You can see the Electrical Water Pageant from the beaches or Marinas on the open lake side of any of the MK area resorts.
Its just a very short (5-7 minutes) "show" that takes place ON the lagoon.

Although Electrical Water Pageant generally follows the schedule below... Inclement weather can cause cancellation of the pageant.

Polynesian Resort -- 9 p.m.
Grand Floridian -- 9:15 p.m.
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35 p.m.
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45 p.m.
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05 p.m.
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20 p.m. (only during extended MK park hours)

Note that when the Magic Kingdom Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m., the Electrical Water Pageant runs about 7-20 minutes later.

EWP is one of those things that has different times listed on different sources and frankly I never quite know what to believe. But to throw conflicting informaton at you, places like WDW’s website (definitely not a beacon of accurate info) and wdwent.com list the time as 10:35PM. I’m told that’s what it also says on the Hub.

This is the current schedule but as always subject to change. The reason for the scheduled 10:35 PM Showing at MK is due to the Fireworks scheduled a 9 PM. When the Fireworks are scheduled for 9 PM this introduces a delay on the EWP process around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.

So take the 10:20 PM from @Robo and add the delay for the Fireworks pause at 9 PM you get to about 10:35 PM tonight.
