Just out of curiosity, why are you so angry about removing the image from the water parade?

And in regards to the bike accident example, while I understand what you're trying to say, unfortunately accidents happen at Disney. Bike accidents, drownings, heart attacks - they happen. This tragedy was an extraordinarily rare situation that I believe - regardless of the age of the victim because I see what you insinuated there - required a different kind of response. It doesn't mean the other people that have lost their life at the parks are any less valuable.

I'm not angry at all. I'm only trying to say that at some point we have to take a step back and evaluate is something warranted or is it an overreaction. I think it's at the point of overreaction and that's just my opinion. Others may agree, other's may not and that's just fine.

The others may not be any less valuable, but what was changed because of that? While their value may not be different, as you pointed out and I agree, the reaction was different, but my question was, "why?". The reason is because we, as a society can accept that accidents happen. We can accept that kids get hit by cars because it happens all too frequently. We can accept that people have heart attacks after riding roller coasters. We can accept that someone died via drowning because again, it happens far too often. It's the nature of this accident that has caused us to react differently, but the question should be, what is appropriate and what is overreaction, and I think, and again this is my opinion and mine alone, that this, along with the response to the removal of a character from a stage show, and removal of lines from the spiel of a ride is going a bit overboard. It's not designed to be sensitive to you or anyone else, it's designed to make you forget.
