I searched and searched and could not come up with a map that would help me figure out from which building's rooms one could view the Electric water pageant at the Grand Floridian. I'm fairly certain it would have to be a Theme park view room, right? I know that the ends of Conch and Sago, and the main building have some of the best direct views of the castle, but where is the best viewing for the Water Pageant? This is one of my families favorite traditions but we are used to seeing it at the Poly. We're debating the TPV vs. Garden view and if you can see the water pageant from a room balcony, that might be the last convincing point! :)

Robo if you are reading - I sure would appreciate one of your awesome maps!!!!

Pics from some people's room views of it would be appreciated as well.

TIA!

I haven't seen a map for the Electrical Water Pageant, however I can describe where it goes.

For Contemporary/Bay Lake Tower guests they can see it from Bay Lake if they have the Bay Lake View. They can also see it in Seven Seas Lagoon if they have the Magic Kingdom View. Plus guests staying in the Contemporary Garden Wing with the Garden View of Bay Lake can also see it from those rooms.

For Polynesian guests those with the Magic Kingdom View or Lagoon View can see it when it's in the Seven Seas Lagoon area in front of the Polynesian.

Finally for Grand Floridian guests I am going assume those with views of Seven Seas Lagoon will see it from their rooms when it goes to the area in front of the Grand Floridian. Since I never stayed there I can't say for sure which room categories you can see it from/

When I've watched it from the Poly, I am looking straight towards the GF as it approaches. I don't know how it comes through the lake prior to that point because I have never paid attention, but if you're on the side of the GF that faces the Poly (so - coming out the back doors of the GF, along the right hand side is where I'm talking about), you can definitely see it there. That area wouldn't be TPV I assume since it faces the Poly Hawaii building area.

You can also see it from the VWL. We had a top floor, lake view villa, and could see it and hear the music from our villa. You could also view it from the beach.

We had a fantastic view each night from our room. It was a theme park view room in Boca Chica. Gorgeous view of the castle and the parade.

How far in advance does it start before Wishes? I have a pontoon boat reserved and I am wondering if we will be able to see that before we board that boat. Thank you

It's on a set schedule, it's not connected to Wishes' time. I believe it starts at the Poly at 9:00. We had a room at GF facing the Poly and could see the EWP from our room.

Here are the scheduled times for the Electrical Water Pageant.

Disney's Polynesian Resort - 9:00 pm
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - 9:15 pm
Disney's Wilderness Lodge - 9:35 pm
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground - 9:45 pm
Disney's Contemporary Resort - 10:05 pm
Magic Kingdom park - 10:20 pm (only during extended Magic Kingdom Park hours)

(You may want to check with the resort just in case the schedule changes or if its canceled due to the weather that day)

We saw it during our Wishes cruise. Of course, it depends on the fireworks time, but ours worked out that we were already on the water at that time - it was great - we were really close to the floats.

We will board our Wishes cruise at 9 at the GF so we will be there then:) A double blessing:) thanks for all the info:)

Thanks for the replies everyone....

Does anyone have specific details on WHERE the EWP travels in front of the Grand Floridian? anyone??? I'm confused b/c Boca Chica and Conch/Sago face different directions for the most part.

Thanks again!
