Electric Umbrella?

Has anyone done a counter service meal at the Electirc Umbrella in EC recently?

Care to share any details? How was it as far as counter service food goes?

We liked the Electric Umbrella - kids had the standard chicken nuggets and fries, we had the burgers which were really tasty. I thought is was really a good option for counter food, and it was conveniently located in Epcot.

We ate there 3 weeks ago. I thought the food was fine, but it was SO crowded, it took forever to find a table. I thought we would never get to eat. This was about 1:00 pm.

Thanks. We usually eat in the foodcourt in the Land but now that it has changed we are going to hit Sorin' first thing so Electric Umbrella seems more convient but we have never eaten there so I wanted to get some feedback. It sounds like as long as we just expect basic counter service food we should be okay.

It was okay... nothing special. My DD and I split a bacon double cheeseburger and ordered an extra bun and fries. It was almost impossible to find a table and the lines were long. The toppings bar was empty and I mean EMPTY and we waited forever just to get to the ketchup. People were actually sitting on the floor on the way to the hall where the restrooms are. I wanted to eat in the WS, but we were too hungry and it was too hot to run all the way over to Morroco which I love, just for lunch.

We have been there for lunch probably everytime we were in Epcot. The food is good, and I really havn't had a problem with the topping bar. But the service was sub par and definatilly not Disney Standards, at least when we were there the last time. Still a solid choice to go for a quick lunch if the lines are short.
