Hi guys, we are headed to a timeshare condo this weekend for a week. They supply an electric skillet and a mini fridge. What do you think that I can do with what they offer. Any good recipes, ideas and/or suggestions? Breakfast, lunch or dinner is needed. It will be just the two of us. I am thinking about taking my crockpot. I would love to buy a few things here before we leave as I know the resort area will be expensive. Canned goods will save fridge space for meat. Thought about an ice chest. HELP!

Thank you so much!

Hey Fellow Monkey!

Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwiches would be good.

You could premake some homemade stew and freeze it to be reheated there.

You could make a cobbler with some fresh fruit..or again frozen.

I think it would be kewl to try to premix, premake and freeze some things to be heated in your skillet.

Have Fun and Travel Safe.

Your post made me smile as my mom always makes the best fried chicken in her electric skillet.:flower3:

Thanks Fairykin. Wish me luck. The bad part of all it is that I am on a diet. I just don't think that a college size fridge will hold that much fruit and veggies. LOL

The only thing I cook in my electric skillet is pancakes..... Have fun, though!

Hey, that's a good idea. Have you seen the pancakes in the spray cans? I haven't tried them but my brother loves them.

We've tried them and they were good.
Note ...The tall can has to be refrigerated.

Maybe better to put some pancake mix in a ziplock and mix it there then snip the end off the ziplock and drizzle it into the electric skillet.

Pre cooked bacon for your hubby...that doesn't have to be refrigerated.

Good Luck and Have Fun.

The week went beautifully. The electric skillet ordeal went fine. We even managed to have a full blown breakfast of bacon, eggs and hash browns. French toast was easy. Grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. So much for the diet. LOL

Thanks for all your ideas! Still wish I tried the spray can of pancakes, though.
