Electric scooters

My mom is planning on visiting WDW with us for a few days this December. She had a stroke 2 years ago and tires pretty easily from walking. Do all of the parks have some sort of electric scooter rental and how much are they per day? Is there any way to guarantee getting one or are they first come first serve? Do they sell out pretty quickly?

You can rent a wheel chair or an electric wheel chair from any of the parks. They are on a first come first serve basis, but we never had a problem renting one (even during the busy season) for my Grandmother.

Also you used to be able to rent a wheel chair from the resorts for your entire stay. That way you can have it for around the resort & not have to worry about renting it at the parks each day.

I believe you can still do that. We used to just call CRO & have them put it on our reservation. You need to leave a hefty deposit, but you get it back.

I dont know if the resorts have the electric ones.

The wheelchairs are not very expensive, but I dont have prices anymore, since we have not needed on in a few years.

You can call Disney & ask their pricing.

I didn't read through all of this, but I believe that rentals available at Disney are limited and there is no way to guarantee you will get one. I believe this article suggests you rent one from a local company for the duration of your trip.
