Electric Scooters at FW?

Does anyone know if electric scooters are allowed at FW? I've read conflicting reports and am not sure. If they are allowed, they sure would be handy for our family to get to the dock!

Electric scooters, electric bikes, electric golf carts are all acceptable at the Fort. No gas mopeds and gas golf carts allowed.

We made our booking for the fall and we were told this by the reservationist. Apparently the've been having issues with the gas carts, so they are now on the lookout for them. So now we are leaving the mopeds home and bringing bikes.

After so many vists to WDW, we're finally staying at the Fort, woo hoooo!!!
