Electric parade ????

i have heard of it but don't know what it is, where it is and if it is a must see I am going back in april and trying to prioritize (sp) things my DD and I have not yet done.

I think you may be thinking of Spectromagic at MK. It is definitely a must see. The Electric Light Parade is no longer at WDW. It can still be seen at DL at California Adventure .

I was under the impression that it was still at WDW. You can see it from GF, Poly beach, and Fort Wilderness Campgrounds, and I would assume WL as well. I was just told that it is still there recently because I had forgotten all about it. I am not sure of the time I think it is before the fireworks at MK but could be wrong hopefully someone else on here can help more!

Its basically barges with lights forming shapes.

Although I never miss a chance to see it... inappropriate "over-anticipation"
can be built up over the "Electrical Water Pageant".

People seem to be expecting to see "Spectromagic on the water", when it is really closer to oversized "Lite Brite" pegs mounted on some barges,

with a "Casio Keyboard" music track.

Don't get me wrong, I still love it, and it's a piece of WDW History, but first-timers, please don't get your hopes set too HIGH.

if you're waiting for the busses or ferry from MK at that time, you can get a pretty good view of the boat parade...makes waiting for busses much more enjoyable

it's a great water parade of boats with electrical figure designs. Takes place about 9:15 p.m with music and can be viewed from the following Ft. W., WL, Contemporary and G.F. I think we were about 9:30 when we stayed at WL. Great show but it is the same each evening.

Sorry, misunderstood which one you were talking about. It is definitely worth seeing the water pagent at least once or twice. I discovered it accidently a few years ago when I was too pooped at the park, and was leaving. I always watch it at the boat dock for the GF at MK.
