Electric Parade Viewing Area w/ lunch package?

Where is the "VIP" viewing area and how is it? Can you stay there for Wishes as well?

Nevermind, found the answer! Seems like you face the train station by the flagpole, which isn't a good spot for Wishes!

Face the train station?
I'm not sure that's correct.

You can certainly face north (toward the castle.)

Regardless, that Town Square (flagpole) viewing area is a less-than-ideal place to see Wishes.

1. Yes.
2. It's at Tony's Town Square (Italian) Restaurant.
(Sadly, one of the worst-reviewed restaurants in all of WDW.)

HERE are the details.

• Admission to Magic Kingdom park is required and is not included in the price of the dining package.

• You receive your voucher for the Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package VIP viewing at the time of your meal.

• Your VIP voucher is only valid for the first showing of the Main Street Electrical Parade.

• Plan to arrive for Main Street, U.S.A. flagpole 15-to-35 minutes prior to show time.

• The Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package is available on all Main Street Electrical Parade show days.

• Showtimes may be found on the online calendar, the My Disney Experience app and the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom park.

• The Main Street Electrical Parade is subject to change or cancellation without notice. Dining packages will not be refunded due to show cancellation or modification.

Sorry to hijack OP. On a busy day (non party day in December) how long would you have to wait for a spot to watch MSEP? Where would be the shortest wait? On top of the train station? Frontierland?

Yes! I think that's the thread I found and at the end a user mentioned the flagpole facing the train station! I read a second account of that too, but maybe they arrived later and couldn't face the castle because there was no more room or something? Who knows. I've watched Wishes from the flagpole before and it's not great but not terrible, especially if it's a reserved section and not crowded! Think we'll still pass this time. Electric parade is only on one day of our MK park days and conflicts with Be Our Guest dinnner, which I'm not willing to give up, especially since nothing has changed since the last time we saw the parade.

I have always found this location the best for Magic Kingdom parades.
