Electric Mixer

is there an electric mixer in the one bedroom units or can you get one from housekeeping?

There was not a mixer in our 1 bedroom at BWV in September. I called housekeeping and a brand new one (still in the box) was brought to us within an hour.

There wasn't one in our unit in the past 6 trips, and none listed on that handy dandy green sheet in the cabinet, but, a quick call to housekeeping took care of that.

Wasn't one in our unit either, but housekeeping brought one. However, one beater went around fine and the other went around in slow motion. Thank heavens I only needed it to mix some cream cheese and sour cream and sugar for a topping. If I had been doing mashed potatoes or something it would not have gotten the job done.

They used to be in the OKW kitchens, but they stopped automatically supplying them a couple years ago. You can always get one by calling housekeeping though. It is one of the little portable ones, but they work fine. If you just have a little batter to do, the blender works well for that too.
