electric ice cubes and glowing drinks?

My DD saw a picture of a glowing drink with "electric ice cubes" from Walt Disney World. Where in the world can we find them? And are they just available with mealsor can we slip in someplace just for a drink?

I bet they have them more than one place. We got them in our kids' drinks at the Coral Ree in Epcot.

We have gotten them at 50's Prime Time Cafe and at Sci Fi both at MGM.

can you buy the glasses and the ice cubes after you are done with the drinks? also is there in problem with jgoing into the sci fi or 50's just for a drink? i know i am stressing over the lil stuff but its my dd'd fisrt trip and i am trying to make it perfect

The glass and cube are your when you order the drink. Since those are both sit down restaurants I wouldnt think you could just snag a drink from there. Just make a ps for lunch or dinner at one and order the drink with that. Prime Time has very good food and the atmosphere is so much fun. We love Adrianna and Topher. Sci Fi is a gret place to have lunch and escape the heat. Its dark inside, you get to sit in a car to eat your meal and watch trailers from some very old movies like Attack of the 50 ft Woman. I recommend giving either or both a try.

We got the glowing ice cubes at Chef Mickey for dinner.
They only put one cube in a glass. lookes like more.
My ds10 loved it.

I've also seen them at the Concourse Steakhouse, but the drink didnt come in a glass, it came in a disposable plastic cup. The ice cubes are yours to keep.

I wonder if you could get one at the Outer Rim lounge, which is the bar next to Chef Mickey's and the Concourse Steakhouse? Hm, something to think on...

The Child at the table next to us had one in his kids drink. I had one in my drink at 50's prime time. Took it home. Use it all the time for fun drinks..

Last year we were able to get them at both Sci-FI and the Hollywood and Vine dinner buffet.

I never found the light up ice cubes at Target, but they do carry them on the internet, and usually on eBay. I think you can do a search under "glo-cubes". I think people say the drinks are a bit expensive with the glow cubes at WDW, but what isn't?

I know i got one in my be bop drink at Prime Time. I got a cute cup with a lid and straw and the glo cube. I'd think just about any sit down in MGM would have glo cubes and I am postive I've seen them in MK or Epcot.
