With the Presidential Election coming up, i was wondering how many people really can be bothered to vote?

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS. My parents reminded me growing up of the days we could not vote and instilled in me that we should ALWAYS use this right since so many good people fought so we could have this right. I bring my son with me and show him that it matters and that he should always use this right. He's 11 and totally understands.

We always vote. Of course it helps that the local M&M Mars plant leaves boxes of goodies at all our local polling places! :teeth:

Always vote, no matter who is running, including primaries. It's one civic responsibility that's fairly easy to fulfill -- at least where I live.

Here in Australia we have no choice but to vote:( It is compulsory. But, if I had my way I would rather not "have" to vote.

:earseek: What happens if you don't or even can't vote (example -- in surgery or hospitalized)?

Always...even when I'm only selecting the lesser
of two evils.

I absolutely agree - well said Robinrs and great example for your son- three generations (so far) of your family truly understand!!!! ::yes::

I ALWAYS vote, even in the local extra elections like school board etc. It is a right, that if we don't excersise regularily we risk having it removed.

If you can't & for example are in hospital you are exempt & can apply for a postal vote, if you are going to be out of town you can get an absentee vote, but regardless you "HAVE" to vote.
