The past 2 years we've gone (late august 07 and late october 08) it was closed, & i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be open this year. we are going first week of september, but maybe for free dining it will be open. i heard the food is great - SO ENJOY!!

When we were there in early May it was open. But as it is open "Seasonally" this basically seems to mean whenever we please.

The best thing about this place is you can fix your own salad and put whatever you like in it or on your tacos.

Thanks for your input. We were there last year a few times in August. It was open 11-3, then after the closing, the CMs changed clothes and went to work at the Noodle Station which opened at 5.

We were there in the middle of June and it was open.

I didn't really like the tacos. They were to greasy and didn't have much flavor.

We ate there on June 24th and I have to say that my taco salad was actually pretty good. My son really wanted to eat there and we had an ADR for the Grand Floridian Cafe and I gave in and canceled the reservation. I wasn't very happy, but decided not to pout and be a baby as I am the Mom afterall, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was good - not great - but good!! It certainly wasn't the worst meal we had our trip - that honor goes to a terrible vegetarian wrap I had a couple of nights earlier at Cosmic Rays!! I'm not a big fan of counter service meals, but I would eat at El Pirata Y Perico again.

We just ate there mid-May & I have to say it is now one of my fav CS, tied w/ Cookes of Dublin.
And the tacos are huge. My DH ordered 2 servings so he could have 4 tacos, as he will normally eat 8 at home, but he could barely get through 2. And I REALLY enjoyed my taco salad.
