i've been looking at the menus online-to get ideas of inexpensive eats at the park-
:Pinkbounc :flower1:

i've come up with the following-

casey's corner main street- a side of cili .99 ( does any one know the approx size)

cosmic rays starlight cafe
tommorow land - MK Cream of chicken soup with veg $1.99

toy story pizza planet
tossed salad 2.19

yakori house - epcot - japan

kid meal teryaki chicken with veg and rice child soft drink 3.49

any one with any other finds???

The only one I've had experience with is Yakatori House in Japan. My dh refuses to eat there ever again because we bought an adult meal that consisted of about 4 shrimp and some rice for about $8!!!

You have probably already heard this one (you are very well researched) but the Pecos Bill's Double cheeseburger with extra bun goes a LOOOOOONG way. You get a ton of fries (which you can turn into cheese fries at the fixins bar) The burger patties are big and the fixins bar is great with all the regular stuff plus sauteed mushrooms and onions. You get 2 nice big hearty sandwiches for I think $7 and change.
I am definately doing the terriaki kids meal- thanks for the tip.

the side of chili at Casey's is very small, only about condiment size. Just enough to put over the hot dog. It's not enough to eat by itself.

I agree with getting an extra bun on a double cheeseburger. Then you can have 2 burgers with all the fixins.

I also find that turkey legs make a really filling meal that's inexpensive.

I think, but not sure, that the turkey legs are about $5.00.

Spliting meals is a great way to save money! Mom and I split the chicken and fish combo basket at Columbia House in MK once, there was plenty of food for both of us for the cost of 1 adult meal combo!

This trip I won't be able to split, though. BF is a big eater and not only cleans HIS plate but then eats what left on my plate if I don't finnish (which is most of the time!). Oh well!

we are planning to split meals at the beaches and cream, the pepper matrket and the riverside mills-
we have the Q & C vouchers and it looks like we can save a lot using them there-
any other plaves to save with the vouchers???

The best deal we found was at Cosmic Rays with a Q&C voucher. For $11.50 cost we ordered the combo meal which was 1/2 grilled chicken, side of ribs, carrots and mashed potatoes, large drink and a hagan daz ice cream bar. Feeds 2 easily and cost about $20.

If you're going very cheap, kids' meals will serve you well. I've eaten the El Nino at the San Angel Cantina several times. It's a burrito, chips and drink. If you splurge and get a cup of cheese sauce for the chips, it will be even more satisfying.

If you're buying drinks and you have more than one person, don't forget to get a large and ask for an extra cup.

The chicken wrap at Pecos Bills would be a great meal for two people. It's huge, plus you get fries and round out your meal with everything from fried mushrooms to cheese sauce at the toppings bar.

If you go to AK dont forget to pick up meal vouchers, are family has always saved with them. They have Adults or childrens. They are good for 1 meal with drink,1 snack coupon for ice cream or popcorn, and 1coupon for a bottle water or soda.We usually use them at pizzafari and flametree bbq.I wish all the parks had them. :flower1:

We like hte homemade dhix noodle soup in the The Land foodcourt in Epecot. $3., i think. very good.

herc.

My DS, DM, and I bought some fruit from a stand near the ToT at MGM along with those big pretzels for lunch (with a lil mustard for dipping). Can't imagine it was that expensive, and it was probably our favorite meal the whole trip. We're not big restaurant eaters...we like to eat 'n go! ;)

when i took my daughter(4 at the time) i found she would not eat every thing and if it went back to the hotel with us there was no storage or way to reheat it(except to go to the food court we stayed at the all stars) so if the wife got some thing and my daughter got something i'd just help them out.

The tossed salad at Pizza Planet will leave you hungry if that's all you're planning for a meal. It's very small - mainly just iceburg lettuce.
