Ejected from the park!

The evening of New Year's Day, 2005, arrival day, we went to PI instead of burning a hopper day, we got into line for the Comedy Warehouse, first show. Behind us was a late 20 ish couple and behind them some young women, we entered the theater and went down the stairs, third row from the top, left side, so in that row it was we two, the 20 somethings to our right, the young women to their right. The show started with the typical request for topics for a song or sketch, whatever, and the gal who was half of the 20ish couple yelled out a few things which were ignored, or not heard, and it became very clear that she was, not drunk, but BOMBED, and this was at 7:20 pm. My pic here should be proof enough that I have no qualms about adult beverages, but this gal was very well oiled for that time of night.

Anyway... as each of her suggestions was passed over and someone else's was taken, she began to loudly complain, 'Oh, that's lame!, 'What's wrong with mine?'. Her boyfriend, or escort, tried to shush her to no avail, finally dragging her to her feet, she needed the help, and they started out. Without any provocation or warning, she slugged one of the women to the right, directly in the head, and the two continued on their way. Magically, plainclothes security materialized and detained them, tended to the victim, not badly hurt, offered the woman and friends a free drink and that was that. I didn't see where security took the drunk and her friend, but I doubt they let them go in PI.

My sister and I were eating at the castle years ago (93) and saw a couple get in an argument. She threw one of those heavy goblets at him and he ducked. It hit a table near them and liquid went all over the place. Managers came out of nowhere and took them out of there. DH also saw a couple in a fist fight in Epcot and management was pulling them apart.

It's been about 2.5 years since I've been to the World, so my memory might be a bit fuzzy, but don't they scan for finger prints before you enter the parks???

even if thyat were true,,,the person could just use a different finger when scanned on a new ticket. no rule that says the "right index finger shall be used".

Then we were there a few years ago when someone left their baby in front of POTC and went off to ride rides. It was asleep in the stroller. This was the last week of June and it was easily in mid-90s, if not hotter. We were standing there when they finally came back to get the baby. Their excuse was that they thought someone else had the baby. That was the first time in 27 years of going to Disney that I had ever seen actually cops in the parks in uniform. And there were several. That entire family and the large group of law enforcement and CMs disappeared quickly threw a side gate.

I do remember reading that in the paper. Weren't the parents eventually charged with child neglect or something?

I never actually saw a family ejected, but did see a car towed from the Poly for parking there when they weren't suppose to..

At SWW this summer, I saw Zam Wessel, one of the female characters interacting with a family. She was one of the bounty hunters, so she was doing her best to scare the kids. Well the Dad decided to jump in and "protect" his kids because they were seriously terrified. He brought out his lightsaber and pretended to attack her. The character flipped. She told him to back off and then went straight off stage. Next thing we know, Security is coming onstage and are going to escort the man to the front of the park. Now, I don't know how the character felt- she may have really felt in danger, but from our point of view she completely overreacted. The father was pretending, trying to make his kids feel better and see that it was all in good fun. We jumped in to defend the man because we saw the whole thing. Thankfully, I don't think the man was thrown out. But it was a very close call.

I know! In another thread, I thought I saw a picture of Sarah Palin getting arrested and thrown out of the parks!

Could have been Tina Fey too.... with a Palin shirt on.. since she is known for SNL & that is on Disney's rival station.. NBC We all know how Disney likes to control the World and therefore not very nice to their competition...


was Palin ever even really arrested to have had that photo taken?

Wasn't there some sort of confrontation with Tigger, a Dad & his son. One of them had accused Tigger of slapping the son, or the son slapped Tigger? I remember reading that but don't remember the entire story...

I don't know if they were evicted from the park or not...

There was video of it or something- Apparently the son was trying to feel for Tigger's zipper on his back (that we all know isn't there ) And Tigger tried to get the kids hand away and ended up shoving him away. The family flipped out. Here's the video from youtube:

Last year I seen a guy and his kids get escorted out of MK. It was right before Spectro and the guy set down in front of one of the boarded off building on Main Street that was under rehab. I think it was the "sports" part of the Emporium. But where he set, it put him in the street... which everyone knows, you can't sit in. A CM kept telling him to move. He wouldn't. Then another CM came, told him to move. He flipped out. Still didn't move. Then a CM that was apparently management came and told him to move or he would be forced to leave. Again, he flipped out. But moved. About 5 min later, he came and set back down in the same spot. The CM that originally told him to move came and told him to move again. He flipped out again. Didn't move. Then the CM came back with the supervisor and a few plain clothes guys and the man and his kids were escorted out of the park. DH actually stood up to watch to see where they took him. They took him right under the train station. So I am assuming, they kept on going till he went out the gate!

This reminds me of a family that left their 3 yr old son waiting/wandering the SM gift shop while the rest were on the ride. We couldn't believe it when he told us his family told him to wait there. We told a CM, who called security, and stayed to watch over the small child. The parents knew something was up when they came off the ride, but I didn't notice anything said to them and it appeared they were able to take the child and leave.

I know someone who was actually ejected. This is going waaaay back. On my high school senior trip one of my classmates was ejected for shoplifting.

I also have a "maybe."

A couple of years ago we were in line for TT. There was a group of about 10 junior high school kids in line with us. I know they were junior high because they were all wearing t shirts that said "X X Junior High" They kept pushing their way in front of people in line. When they got to the head of the line, where you board the ride, they were removed by the CMs. (without ever boarding the ride ) I'm not sure if they were removed from just the ride or from the park altogether.

One night we were leaving Epcot, & in line for the bus. When a bus arrived the bus driver was loading wheel chairs. This man jumps out of line & starts yelling at the bus driver for not allowing people on the bus. All of sudden a security van pulls up & takes the guy away. It happened so quickly. His family just stood there with their jaws dropped. The guy was such an idiot. It was like watching a cop show.

This post made me laugh a little. It reminds me of that oldish Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "Eraser". Think of his voice saying "You have been erased!".

I was at Disneyland about 6 years ago, and was in line for the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Anyway, once you get to the front of the queue, the line snakes back an forth so you pass the people ahead of you and behind you in line several times. There was a guy behind me and my wife in line, and as he passed us he felt compelled to make inappropriate comments about my wife. He was drinking out of a bottle of Coca Cola, and it was obvious to everyone in line that the bottle was half rum, or something of that nature. He was also making rude comments to others in line. When I got to the front, as the CM was checking my seatbelt on the ride, I told her about the guy, mentioning he was at least partially intoxicated. He was easy to spot, as he had on a tye dyed Grateful Dead shift that could be seen from a mile away.

As the ride ended, I saw three uniformed Disney Security guys waiting at the ride exit, as well as what I am sure was a plainclothes Anaheim PD officer. We watched them talk to the guy as he exited the ride, taking his Coke bottle and smelling the stuff inside. Then they started walking him towards the front gate. I'm assuming he was evicted, possibly arrested.

Thank goodness Disney did that. Disney is family friendly and MK is supposed to be the most kid friendly. That is something I do not want my 6 year old son looking at. They will see plenty of that later in life from TV.

Aww come on.. Disney is for EVERYONE, there should be SOME shows for the Dads too (at least then me and my soon to be 13 year old sone would have something in common!)

I saw a threatened ejection on Splash Mountain. We were in the fastpass line and a couple (college age) jumped over from the standby line in front of us. They tried to push past the cm collecting the fastpasses. He told them to go to the end of the line or they will be ejected from the park!

We were there at the exact same time! We saw the police arrive, as well, and then scoured the news that evening to see what had happened. Awful! Not that one should ever leave his/her child unattended, but it was positively sweltering and that baby was completely alone. So sad.

I wish that they were banned from parenting for life...

And how do they keep you out if you're banned for life? Facial recognition software like in the casinos?

Think of it as a last chance. If you do go back and get in any kind of trouble, you go to jail for trespassing. I would also be leery of staying on property or using a credit card because they could be cross-matched.

We saw a guy get escorted off property for smoking a joint at DLR in the 70s .
We were on a dark ride and suddenly noticed that unmistakable smell. As we exited the ride the were people waiting to escort him to the park exit.
