Ejected from the park!

Last year I seen a guy and his kids get escorted out of MK. It was right before Spectro and the guy set down in front of one of the boarded off building on Main Street that was under rehab. I think it was the "sports" part of the Emporium. But where he set, it put him in the street... which everyone knows, you can't sit in. A CM kept telling him to move. He wouldn't. Then another CM came, told him to move. He flipped out. Still didn't move. Then a CM that was apparently management came and told him to move or he would be forced to leave. Again, he flipped out. But moved. About 5 min later, he came and set back down in the same spot. The CM that originally told him to move came and told him to move again. He flipped out again. Didn't move. Then the CM came back with the supervisor and a few plain clothes guys and the man and his kids were escorted out of the park. DH actually stood up to watch to see where they took him. They took him right under the train station. So I am assuming, they kept on going till he went out the gate!

Then we were there a few years ago when someone left their baby in front of POTC and went off to ride rides. It was asleep in the stroller. This was the last week of June and it was easily in mid-90s, if not hotter. We were standing there when they finally came back to get the baby. Their excuse was that they thought someone else had the baby. That was the first time in 27 years of going to Disney that I had ever seen actually cops in the parks in uniform. And there were several. That entire family and the large group of law enforcement and CMs disappeared quickly threw a side gate.

About fifteen years ago I saw a group of teenagers escorted "out" of Disneyland for refusing to stop smoking! They were in the area around Space Mtn. and we had observed them when going up the escalator. When we came out, the "plain clothes" Disney police were taking them towards the front of the park! My DD25 still remembers this and that I told her "See, people that smoke get kicked out of Disneyland!", LOL!

In 48 hours I'll be on the plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter and I saw a woman escorted out of DHS for inappropriate attire. She had on a black see through top and no bra. We knew what was happening because she was very vocal about her displeasure.

Not WDW, but my kids' eighth grade teacher was asked to leave the Happiest Place on Earth (DL) and never return. When she was a kid from Montana visiting her cousins in SoCal, they were on IASW when it stopped. Her cousin talked her into climbing out of the boat and attempting to walk out. They were taken to Disney Jail, parents were summoned, and they were Banished for Life.
I have to tell you this woman is the sweetest, most demure and conservative individual you could ever hope to meet. She always waited until we were at DL for the traditional 8th graders' grad outing before telling this story--partly to put a fear in them so they wouldn't duplicate the offense, and partly to let them feel "in on" some inside scoop about their straight-laced teacher. My youngest left 8th grade 7 years ago and every time we go on IASW we still talk about the time Miss *** got kicked out of DL.
I have a feeling that this is an over-exaggeration on the woman's part -- remembering something that happened in a far more dramatic way than it did. My bet is that she "elaborated" in order to scare the heck out of the kids. I bet if you walked up to the DL turnstiles with her and bought a ticket, there'd be no problem.

It takes a LOT to eject someone for life, and walking through IASW isn't even close to what it takes (even back then).

:earsboy:

We were on BTRR this past April when some guys (prob college age) had the bright idea to stand up, or jump out or something. First a voice started shouting "sit down!!!" and then the ride stopped - with the first two cars (incl me) heading down the big hill. Security came first and escorted the offenders away and then the rest of us had to climb out and walk down. Whole thing took about an hour. On the way down, the CMs told us that the kids would be kicked out and banned for life. Everyone started joking about how they would have to one day explain to their wife and kids why they couldn't take a family trip to Disneyworld...

I guess it's good to know that brakes on the rides are that good and that someone really is paying attention to what folks are doing. But what on earth would possess someone to stand up on a moving roller coaster? :confused3 We were in line with them for about half an hour and they didn't seem drunk or even that stupid.

And how do they keep you out if you're banned for life? Facial recognition software like in the casinos?

I've seen the plain clothes Disney security every trip. They dress just like any tourist but if you look closely you can see that they have radios and other things. Look around the entrances and you'll see them. Then in the parks look for the tell tale signs. I've also seen uniformed real police. Security is there.

You would have to be in the right place at the right time to see them in action. I was once at Epcot and they took an unruly person offstage in under minute through an exit you wouldn't have known was there. They actually followed the person until he got close to that point and then almost invisibly removed him. They really did a great job of not creating a commotion about the arrest.

So I think it happens more often than we know and that's probably a good thing.

I've never seen it done at WDW, but I've seen it at both Universal and Busch Gardens. At Uni, I didn't see the person get dragged out, but I was in Guest Services when his tearful wife was freaking out about it (apparently the police were involved). At Busch, we were directly involved with the idiots. We were eating at the Hallowscream dinner show, and I got up to go to the bathroom. We were at the end of a table, and there was some room in front of us (it's self seating at long tables). Some drunks came and sat in the open space, which was fine, except that they also took my spot (with my stuff still there!). My husband told them his wife was sitting there and the guy in my spot refused to move, but then I showed up so he did. But then his buddy starting purposely blocking DH's view (they were very, very drunk and thought their antics were hilarious). Since DH was on the end, he just stood up so he could see the show without blocking anyone else. The guy jumped up and started swearing at him and getting in his face, so I got security (they have Tampa cops there for the Halloween event). The cop kicked them out of the restaurant. All would have been fine, except they came back!!! The guy returned with the group as soon as he thought the cop was gone and tried to get DH to fight again. Cop was actually nearby and this time the idiots were kicked out completely.

I saw a YouTube video of a woman arguing with another WDW guest. If I ever see that woman again, I will escort her out myself and drive her to the everglades and feed her to the gators... What she did/said was despicable.

I think I saw the same one while researching if people fall off of summit plummit (not that I'm paranoid about that...;)) and she was so awful and said the most racist things.... I wonder if she got kicked out for raising a ruckus.

I also saw some little....child (I want to say something else but don't want to offend) that kicked maybe Pluto - I don't remember - hard and then Pluto was chasing him around the square trying to get him!! I can't blame him, though. If someone, anyone, physically assaulted me I'd be pretty irate, too. I didn't see a parent anywhere, either and this kid was pretty young. I don't even want to imagine what my parents would have done to me if I had kicked or laid my hands on one of the characters like that! Suffice it to say at the least there would be no more parks or fun for me on that vacation!:scared1:

Someone mentioned that a person was banned for life from WDW.

I'm wondering how that works. I could see them being banned from a resort, because when you stay at a resort you have to give them your name. But how do they keep a specific person out of the parks. Anyone can purchase tickets at the ticket booths located at any of the parks, without giving their name or showing identification, or anything. So how would WDW actually be able to keep someone out of a park?

It's been about 2.5 years since I've been to the World, so my memory might be a bit fuzzy, but don't they scan for finger prints before you enter the parks???

Nope. It's a biometric scan based on finger shape of the individual linked to that ticket. it does not pinpoint an individual like a fingerprint does.

I think it's more of a if-they-notice-you, you-will-get-tossed thing. I don't think the finger thing is supposed to be used for anything other than matching a specific finger to a specific ticket, but who knows what they do with that data. I tend not to trust these things in the first place...

I've never seen anybody ejected, but I did see a young woman refused entry into MK. She had on tiny Daisy Duke shorts, a bikini top, and cowboy boots, and was not allowed into the park due to the inappropriate attire. She pitched quite a fit, but the CMs did not back down.

Thank goodness Disney did that. Disney is family friendly and MK is supposed to be the most kid friendly. That is something I do not want my 6 year old son looking at. They will see plenty of that later in life from TV.

Haven't seen anyone get thrown out, nor do I want to... I think that would ruin the magic for me. Unless they are dangerous to themselves or someone else.... then that would be ok.

Last year my husband went for fast passes on Splash Mountain at rope drop while DD and I went to Peter Pan to ride. Apparently, there was a large group heading that way and a man next to DH got very angry that my husband walked faster, so he stabbed him in the arm with a pin. A Cast Member witnessed the event, made a quick call and the Disney Police escorted the stabbing man out of the park. DH was stunned, and also upset that this man's small son witnessed this behavior and then had to leave too. :sad1: Not a very magical morning.

Some people nee psych test ran on them before being allowed to have kids. I will have a two year old next summer when we go let me just tie him up next to the stroller parking so I can ride Space Mountain. (BTW that was totally a joke before anyone blows up at it I would actually tie him up in the shade>>>>jokeing).

Must have been around 12-14 years ago , we were watching people come down Splash Mountain. There was a group of teenage boys, about 12-14 years old, that stood up going down the drop. As they came down the lower end of the ride under the bridge, they must have realized they were in trouble and jumped out of the boat and up the hill! Shortly after that, security and a female manager were walking hurriedly through looking for them. She was holding photocopies of them going down the flume to hand out to cms and security to find the boys.

They asked us if we had seen what happened and we explained what we saw. We asked what they would do to them and she mentioned escorting them and their entire party from the park. It was the wildest event I had ever seen.
