Ejected from the park!

Based on the discussion from another thread, it appears that WDW does very little to control unruly guests. I'm curious to know if anyone has

1.) Seen someone be ejected from a WDW park (if so do you know why).
2.) Caused someone to be ejected from a WDW park and why.
3.) Been ejected from a WDW park (if you're willing to admit it and why).

From all accounts I've read, the CMs and security are either powerless or unwilling to do anything to anybody for fear of either liability or offending someone. I've always heard that WDW has plain clothes security but I've never once seen them or a CM intervene in a situation where a guest or group of guests were was causing a problem. I know they'll come out of the woodwork for a lost/missing child or for a medical emergency which is commendable but there are many of instances where their intervention would improve the overall park experience for others. Just curious.

No, I've never seen anyone ejected from a park, caused someone to be ejected, or been ejected myself.

I have heard of others who said they saw plain-clothed security people eject someone from the park.

I know there was a family a few years back eject from one of the deluxe resorts, can't remember if it was the Poly or GF. Seems they rented out an entire floor for their family (someone had hit the lotto). Some of the teen relatives stole bottles of wine maybe (can't remember for sure), got totally wasted & went to the parks. If I remember correctly, they were ejected from the park & the entire family from the resort.. If you goole it, you may find it.. I will try to find the link..

The only time I have ever seen/heard of anyone being escourted out of the park was during MNSSHP for not having a wristband or event ticket, but never for behavior.

We did see a very aggressive gentleman who had a severe mental disability screaming and hitting a family member, but I don't know what happened, we left that area of the park. I did see regular security and CM's headed to handle the situation.

Oh, I remember hearing about that on the news. Can you imagine, getting into a fight over the tea cups?:rotfl:

That's right, I forgot that one. They even ended up in court fighting against one another..

Now that one I found fast googling it..

Attack at Disney teacup ride near Orlando has damaged victim, witnesses testify
April 09, 2008|By Helen Eckinger, Sentinel Staff Writer
A mother and daughter testified Tuesday that they saw an Alabama woman pummel a Lake County mother last May as she stood in line for the Mad Tea Party ride at Walt Disney World.

Victoria Mauger, 12, of Jacksonville told jurors that Victoria Walker, on trial in Orange Circuit Court, pushed her way to the front of the line and argued with Aimee Krause of Clermont. A Disney worker separated the two. But a few minutes later, as Victoria sat in a teacup with Krause's daughter Amber, she saw Walker approach Krause again.

"All of a sudden I see Ms. Walker come and kick Ms. Aimee in the back of the leg and try to get her on the floor," Victoria testified. "She hit her on the head with her purse, and when she realized it wasn't working, I guess, she grabbed her by the hair and started using her fists."

I've never seen anybody ejected, but I did see a young woman refused entry into MK. She had on tiny Daisy Duke shorts, a bikini top, and cowboy boots, and was not allowed into the park due to the inappropriate attire. She pitched quite a fit, but the CMs did not back down.

Not WDW, but my kids' eighth grade teacher was asked to leave the Happiest Place on Earth (DL) and never return. When she was a kid from Montana visiting her cousins in SoCal, they were on IASW when it stopped. Her cousin talked her into climbing out of the boat and attempting to walk out. They were taken to Disney Jail, parents were summoned, and they were Banished for Life.
I have to tell you this woman is the sweetest, most demure and conservative individual you could ever hope to meet. She always waited until we were at DL for the traditional 8th graders' grad outing before telling this story--partly to put a fear in them so they wouldn't duplicate the offense, and partly to let them feel "in on" some inside scoop about their straight-laced teacher. My youngest left 8th grade 7 years ago and every time we go on IASW we still talk about the time Miss *** got kicked out of DL.

I'm sure anyone who has been ejected from the parks would have such a negative opinion about Disney (because I'm sure anyone ejected doesn't think they were doing anything wrong!) that the last place they would hang out would be the Dis boards!! :lmao:

But to answer the question, I've never witnessed someone being ejected from the parks. From everything I have read about the security they have in place, situations that would warrant ejection seem to be handled as discretely as possible. I doubt you will ever see uniformed security hauling someone to the front of the park kicking & screaming.

Wasn't a pop warner group ejected from both the parks and their resorts after a scuffle in the park? And I think they did it immediately, asking people to vacate their rooms pretty late at night.

That's the only ejection I've ever heard of for a big group...errr, not that I'm in the know. Though I've certainly heard lots about bad group behavior from these boards ;).

yep, forgot about that one too.. there was some sort of fight against their rivals or something..

I saw a YouTube video of a woman arguing with another WDW guest. If I ever see that woman again, I will escort her out myself and drive her to the everglades and feed her to the gators... What she did/said was despicable.

Well from what it seems so far, those that get into any type of physical confrontation or under age drinking are asked to leave..Those who are not dressed properly for a theme park (such as bathing suit tops) are not allowed in. I haven't seen anything for line jumping, or just plain old annoying someone cases.. I would imagine if one was caught stealing, that would qualify for an ejection.. and being banned.. not to mention having to pay restitution.

and NO this is not directed to anyone in particular before that case starts up again..:thumbsup2

Here is a better link about the pop warner fight.... gives more detail on what happened & how Disney handled it...it's from mouseplanet..

I still have not found the one about the family with the teens.. that is driving me crazy. I know it happened, just cannot seem to recall if the teens were just acting drunk or if they were nasty.. etc.. but I know it caused the entire family (all rooms) to be asked to leave.. I want to say they stole the alcohol from the concierge station during the free cocktail hour that concierge holds & stock piled it to drink the next day..

So what you are saying is no California Gurls allowed :rotfl:!!!!!!!

I know there is at least one (possibly several more) guest who has been banned from Disney properties world-wide for selling pins to guests on property.
