Eight nights in the world, but my reviews wouldn't be fair...

I was suffering a cold before we left, but I used the Zicam stuff and all my symptoms were gone while we were there, but almost nothing tasted good to me. I don't know if it was the cold still or if I really didn't like the food. I don't feel I can give a fair or accurate review. Here's where we ate though...we ended up cancelling some PS's due to scheduling changes.

The Mexican fast food place in Adventureland...twice, the girls liked it.
Boma's for breakfast & dinner. The girls didn't care much for either.
Mara at AKL several times for breakfast & lunch. The girls liked the lunches, not breakfast premade stuff. No cheese on breakfast burritos?
San Angel Inn...I did taste & like this one!LOL
Rainforest Cafe, DTD. I had crablegs & DD had the steak. Meats good, sides yuck. This was a freebee with my giftcertificates thank goodness.
Hoop Dee Doo Revue...girls liked the food here. DD was a can-can girl. Lot's of fun!
50's Prime Time Cafe...Chicken good, bad sides..crunchy green beans.
Toy Story Pizza Planet...DGD loved it!
Alfredo's in WS...girls liked, I didn't.

We cancelled two PS's. We ended up cancelling Cindy's breakfast because my DD wasn't feeling good and we made that day a nonpark day. I cancelled Jiko's because we ended up doing parks this day to make up for the unscheduled nonpark day. This one was for me anyway and since I didn't seem to be enjoying anything I thought I'd keep the $150 I had budgeted for it.

Like I said, I think it was the cold thing because even things I'd enjoyed before tasted different to me. Sorry I couldn't provide better reviews!

are you feeling better now? having a cold is bad enough while at home, but while on vacation.........yikes!

Jennymouse, that is funny... I LOVE those green beans at Primetime... they are cooked "just right"!

I DIPPED THOSE CRUNCHY GREEN BEANS IN ALMOST EVERYTHING (gravy, mashed potatoes) TO GET THEM DOWN..

Talk about nasty. Has anyone ever had another vegetable at the Prime Time? I was just wondering if they do it purposely just to have more people to pick on about not finishing their veggies..

Thanks for your reviews. Sorry nothing tatsed good to you. :( It is horrible to have a cold and not enjoy the taste of the food (especially when you are at WDW and paying WDW prices ;) ).

I've never had the greenbeans at Primetime, but I love crispy greenbeans! When I make them at home, I steam them so they are cooked, but still crisp!

Actually, my DD hid them in a napkin then smuggled them out of the restaurant in her fanny pack so our waitress wouldn't make us eat them!

Krissalee, they're surely better for ya the way you cook them, but here in Kentucky we like ours cooked for hours with a little bacon fat until they're tender. Maybe that's why they call this part of the country "heart attack alley"!

MAC3, I tried running them through the mashed potatoes too, but I couldn't eat them either!

FYI about 50's PTC:I always substitute the green beans for another veggie. You can do that and I've never been given a hard time about it. I usually get corn.

jennymouse, sorry you had a cold and couldn't enjoy the food. That has happened to me once while at WDW, what a bummer!! Thanks for your reviews anyway;)
