Thanks for the review. We're taking DS next Sunday. He'll be OK, I'll be the one crying. I just watched Homeward Bound , The Incredible Journey on the Family Channel. I've seen it at least 25 times, but everytime Shadow comes over the hillside I'm bawling. My DS said to me, Gees mom do you have to cry everytime you watch this movie?

Me too. I love that movie.

Thanks for the heads up on the movie. I don't think I can see it in public. Better wait for it to come out on DVD.

We went to two movies today (weather was lousy and cold). We saw Eight Below first and then Pink Panther. All three of us had tears streaming down our faces and runny noses for entire movie. What a fantastic movie. We're going to buy it as soon as it gets out on DVD. We'll probably go see it again.

Now, PP, that was really funny. I'm glad we saw that after Eight Below.

If dogs die, then it's not a good movie for my kids. They would be sobbing all over the theater. Thank you for the review.

We can't even watch Old Yeller. It's way too sad.

I agree thanks the the spoilers! I don't think I could take in the movie myself...although my mother wants me to take her to see it. I can't watch Old Yellar either (once was enough). I get all teary eyed and emotional when I watch Homeward Bound!!!

This is a great movie! DS13 & I saw it today. I almost cried at the end when Mia was brought back to the truck

I saw this today with my dad. The leapord seal scene made me jump, though. And I almost cried.

we loved the movie but I don't think they would have enjoyed it if they were younger than 8 or so. I thought it dragged a bit and while DD10 liked it, I could see her wiggling and playing with her popcorn alot! There were some crying young kids in there as well as some bored ones who were up and down during the movie. We sure loved on our dog when we got home!

This really must depend on the kid. I had also been warned that somthing to make you jump would happen at the whale part, but took my DS5 and DD7. Both kids really enjoyed the movie and new there was going to be a part that was "freaky". My DD7 got a little ansy and tired, but perked back up after that part, on the other hand my DS5 LOVED the movie and stayed attentive the entire time. I thought it was very fast paced and didn't think twice at the time. Althought there were sad parts, there were feel good parts too...great movie, actually can't wait to see it again when it comes out on DVD!

Thanks for the warning. I'll be skipping this one. I can watch humans die in a movie, I miight cry a little depending on the circumstances but for the most part it doesn't even phase me . An animal dies and I just can't deal. I wonder what this means about me? :scratchin
