An Egyptian ferry carrying more than 1,300 people has sunk in the Red Sea.
Fourteen bodies and 12 survivors have so far been pulled from the sea, Egyptian officials said.

what with that and the turkey bird flu thing looks like it'll be another bad year for travel.
and it might even be an ex Townsend-Thoresen ferry. My view is once a ferry is over a certain age scrap it.
