I've always wanted to see Egypt - in the 5th grade I thought I wanted to be an archaeologist until I realized it was basically digging in the dirt under the hot sun.

ABD would be a perfect way to see it!!!

Having spent a lot of time in that part of the world I recommend plenty of research, planning and contemplation before you go. There are many dangers to tourists traveling in the middle east. Even Disney travelers. I'm not saying be a shut in and hide under the covers, just saying be aware and very cautious.

Someone on FB wrote that she had just visited there and had a rough time of it. She was grabbed and harassed repeatedly. This would make me think plenty about a visit there.

I have a friend who went there recently. He loved it. I would be cautious and very mindful of my actions while I was there.
