Eggs Benedict

Hi

When we honeymooned at WDW I loved the Eggs Benedict that we were served at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary. One of the many, many things I was looking forward to when we visit again in July was a repeat performance.

My question is, now that the Concourse Steakhouse is closing at the end of May, are there any other Eggs Benedict afficionados out there who can recommend the best alternative - the setting and the dish itself made it so memorable.

I feel daft just asking this!

I am a HUGE eggs benny lover. The best ones were at the Captains Galley at the YC...wow they were to die for and made with procioutto (sp?) instead of Canadian Bacon...the potates it came with were gross but the eggs benny WOW! Another great one is Kona, it was cooked perfectly, loved it and the potatoes were so much better here.

Kona Cafe & Grand Floridian Cafe both offer a great eggs Benedict.

I also loved the Eggs Benedict at the Concourse Steakhouse - did it every trip. We won't be arriving until June, so I won't get one more breakfast from there. So I'll be trying the GF Cafe. I did Kona Cafe several years ago and they ruined the Eggs Benedict. They sat too long under the lights and the yolks were hard and the hollandaise sauce was all dried up. Kona ruined two out of two meals of mine, so I won't be dining there again.

Ahhhh, GF Cafe'. Even though our dinner experience there wasn't so good. I'b be willing to give it a try for breakfast. Besides I was looking for a reason to bring my family to the GF. Thanks
