Do they really taste better? If so, how do they get it to taste better? :confused3

I don't think they taste any different. I have raised chickens in the past and I can tell you that what they eat makes a HUGE difference in what their eggs taste like. Chickens that are allowed to free range and eat grass and insects will lay eggs that have a rich, orange yolk that tastes wonderful.
Get some eggs from chickens that are really free range. You'll certainly see the difference!

DW and I both think they taste better. Have served them to other people and they agree.

Better feed means healthier chickens and more nutritous eggs.

NO idea--but my dd asks for them everytime we go to the store. Those commercials have her hooked. We get the cage free eggs anyway.

If I am making an omelet or scrambled eggs for breakfast I only use the Eggland eggs. If I am making chicken cutlets or a cake, I use regular eggs. I buy both and I think the Eggland eggs are much better when eaten alone.

They are suppossed to have less cholesterol, more omega 3 fatty acids, and less saturated fats. So basically better for you, especially if you have heart and cholesterol issues. Since this fits my husband, this is the kind he gets.

I buy them along with a lot of different varieties of eggs.

I've notice recently that when I boil eggs there is a skin around them (outside layer of the white right underneath the shell), has the skin always been there, I've never noticed it before. EB has it, It's awful especially if making egg salad.
