Has anyone had the egg rolls at the Yak and Yeti counter serve? If so, did you like them? My parents just returned from Disney, and for the second year, they raved about how good the egg rolls here were. I've never heard anyone else comment on them, so I wonder if it's just Mom who thinks they're so special.

I can't speak for Yak & Yeti but the ones we got at the egg roll cart in AK were fabulous!! My new favorite snack and they were reasonably priced too!

I can assure you that the eggrolls at Yak & Yeti CS are amazing! On our trip in March 09, we stumbled upon Y&Y after riding EE. :woohoo: We got there right at 11 when they opened for lunch. All of their food was great and fresh. When we returned in Aug 10, it was a must do. Still fresh, hot, and delicious. Forget Pizzafari or Flame Tree, Yak and Yeti's where it's at for our family. We love Asian cuisine but won't do it for a TS because it is something we can readily get in our town. But with hit or miss CS in the parks, Yak and Yeti always gets our vote! :goodvibes

Does the Yak and Yeti CS have either indoor seating or at least covered seating (like at Flame Tree BBQ)? Last time I was there, all the seating was outdoors and uncovered, so it was HOT!

It is still mostly open air, but we often take ours to the tables next to the water.

I haven't had the CS, but the TS egg rolls (probably the same?) are excellent. They're somewhere between egg rolls and spring rolls, and the dipping sauce is a little spicy, but not too spicy. Overall they're really good. I like them a lot.

Y&Y had covered seating behind the stand with umbrellas and if you can hit it right, the shade from the building hits perfectly over some of the tables. That's the only thing that kind of stinks but that's why we try to eat right at 11 when they open. Not only is the food fresh, the heat isn't awful, and the lunch crowd isn't crazy. It works out perfectly since we're not breakfast eaters. It's not too hot but there are fantastically a/c'ed bathrooms back there too for a quick refresh before you start touring again! :upsidedow

Great, thanks! I'm an early lunch eater-more than once I've been in line at the register, waiting for the resturant to open and take my order, so this is a great tip I'll likely use. Umbrellas behind, or over by the water.
