Egg Nog in the stores....ALREADY.

I HATE how stores rush the holidays. I refuse to shop this time of year because I cannot stand to see the Christmas stuff up in September/October.
I love Christmas and it is my favorite holiday, but not till AFTER Thanksgiving.

Don't enjoy eggnog holiday spirit till after Thanksgiving, but definitely treated us to the pumpkin spice, gingerbread, and eggnog coffee creamers!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Have you been able to find pumpkin spice creamers? I have been going crazy looking for some but nobody seems to have it this year. :confused3 Luckily I figured out that if I put some pumpkin pie spice in with the coffee grounds when I make some it comes out fairly close. :thumbsup2

I saw Pumpkin Spice creamer - Coffee Mate and International Delights - at Publix today, and I saw the International Delights one at Walmart a few days ago.

Canned egg nog? I never had that either.

Bordens makes it. My MIL used to buy it so she could have Egg Nog all year round. I don't care for it.

The Nestle Coffee Mate brand is Pumpkin Spice, the International Delight is Pumpkin Pie Spice....don't ask ;). They'll be in your stores soon, our local stores incl: Giant, Safeway, Food Lion, Target & Walmart just started with the holidays ones. Next shopping trip I'll get the Carmel Apple and Peppermint :). Good you improvised, no doubt better for you! :goodvibes

Thanks for the tips! I found some Coffee Mate Pumpkin Spice at Wal-Mart tonight! :thumbsup2 I could have sworn that they came out earlier last year, though. :woohoo:

I saw them a couple of weeks ago at my local stores, what I'm waiting for is the pumpkin spice soy milk.

Whatever happened to thanksgiving?:confused3
The stores around here don't seem to care much about Thanksging. Every year my grocery store seems to cram all the fall stuff onto a small display the week before Halloween, and all we care about for the next two months is Christmas - with the added joy of nonstop holiday music.

Agreed. And, I refuse to listen to holiday music until December. :goodvibes

DF just bought some tonight. He has drank half the carton already. It's too warm here yet for egg nog.
