Yes they said the last round of price increases was for that very reason - didn't work, so they bang them higher. Probably won't work again. Only a US recession will hit them. I think the Disney Parks will then have to slash prices (generous offers) as they will be hammered. The buy in (tickets, food etc) is now so much higher than last recession.
And then they'll look to DVC owners to help get them thru the slump. The same group they've started messing with when times are good. It was back in the last recession where they dropped the minimum 160 point buy in to 50. So when things tighten up and less disposable income is available what will the next VP of DVC do?
