Effect of Wine and Dine Half Marathon?

Hi, all. Anything to look out for in terms of the effect of the Wine and Dine Half Marathon on park touring 11/4? Should I expect any transportation delays that morning (will be at Wilderness Lodge)? Thanks!

I am trying to find out the same thing. I have an EMM morning planned, and a PPO ADR so I've been reading threads to figure out any negative impack. They run from MK to EP (I think) and I believe the worst of it may be road closures getting to the parks They leave the parking lot early enough to not have any impact, but I have an EMM for MK on the 4th and a PPO on the 3rd at EP, I haven't found the buses the most reliable especially if you HAVE to be somewhere, but driving yourself, I'd say just allow lots of time. I have a map but it doesn't tell me highway numbers, times, etc. I did find one running thread but it's about participating, not circumventing, lol. Feel free to message me if you find out anything

I'd suggest going to MK that day, at least to start. First, it's the only park the race won't touch (assuming it's the same course, it starts in the TTC parking lot and heads to AK from there), and second, you can take a boat over from Wilderness Lodge. The boat won't be hurt by any traffic problems caused by the runners.

The 10k the day before may affect getting to Epcot and Studios (it's from TTC to Epcot) but probably not as much - it will end sooner. The 5k on Friday shouldn't bother you at all.

That said, I may run a bit paranoid as I ended up stuck for an hour with a bored grumpy 4-year-old and 2-year-old on a bus to Studios on Marathon Day back when they did the half marathon and full marathon on the same day.

To the PP that has a Ppo adr at Epcot 10k day FWIW at 8 there may still be the final bit of stragglers exiting the park

It looks as if (looking at maps), on the 3rd and 4th, if I go in through Lake Buena Vista Drive and take the right onto Epcot Center Drive I can avoid the closures. Getting there from AoA may be a problem though.
