Effect of DAH at MK on regular day guests

We are planning to go to MK on a Thursday night in May. I didn't even think about DAH when I set our schedule. I know the parties make MK a madhouse after those with party tickets are let in. Do the DAH guests cause that much of an impact? I wish we could afford the DAH because it sounds amazing, but it's not in the budget this trip. I could switch our MK night to Wednesday which has EMH (we're on property) but we are planning to RD AK on Thursday morning, so I'm concerned about being too tired the next day.
Any thoughts from those who have way more experience than I do?

The DAH tickets are much more limited than any of the parties so I wouldn't worry about the impact of the (relatively) minimal additional DAH attendees. And IME, the DAH attendees who show up (those aren't in the park for the day already) usually don't seem to get there until about an hour before. That was my takeaway when talking to fellow DAH guests the night my family went. (Obviously some showed up earlier; some later... I'm generalizing).

If anything, maybe just plan on RD'ing MK that day so you can have some extra time before the DAH event starts. But I wouldn't change your plans around DAH impact concerns at all.

I would keep your plans. To date, DAH has not really had a material impact on end of day park conditions. Are there more people in the park due to DAH? Yes. Is it MNSSHP level crowds? No. It’s still a relatively small guest count compared the day guest count, within the numbers that it would be tough to say one way or the other.

I agree with everyone above for May. Once DAH makes the change to Villains Unleashed, I think it's possible it could eventually have the same kind of effect the other parties do. But for May and for DAH in its current form, I doubt it will have much effect on your day or your crowds.
