EEH Split Stay Question

I'm pretty sure this would work, but wanting to double check.

If I do a split stay with 1 night at a deluxe and the remaining nights at a moderate, and EEH is offered on the check out day of my deluxe stay, do I still get access to that? My understanding is that you receive deluxe privileges on both your check-in and check-out days, but on the EEH evening, I will have already checked into the moderate and would be staying there that night.

Theoretically, you are correct! You should have all the accesses and privileges of the deluxe resort checkin and checkout days.

You should be able to take advantage of the benefit, but I would take a screenshot on your phone of the deluxe reservation just in case.

You are eligible for everything related to a stay for both check-in and check-out day, including EEH.

Thanks for the replies! I just thought of a related question. I'm assuming that the only transportation at the end of EEH would be going back to deluxe resorts. Is that correct? So, if I'm actually staying at a moderate that night, would I have to Uber back or find some alternate transportation?

Correct, because EEH is only for those staying at deluxe resorts, Disney transportation for value & moderate resorts won't go as late into the night as transportation for deluxe.

Also, if doing EEH at Epcot, the world showcase between Norway and France is closed & sidewalks are blocked off. I did Frozen towards the end of EEH, and then had to walk the scenic route through Mexico, Canada, & UK to get to the International Gateway & Skyliner. People wanting to do Remy & Frozen would have to do the same.

Thank you! If we do it, it would be for MK (assuming they keep the same schedule they've been running).

Depending on schedules, it could be possible to go MK --> Disney Springs --> Moderate Resort

We'd be staying at POFQ so DS is very convenient for that, but I don't think busses go between DS and the parks.

If you stay until the end of the EMH, they won't. I can't remember if they do in the late afternoon, either. I know it's to discourage people from parking for free at DS and taking a bus to a park. A rideshare is probably your best bet, if it's crazy to get one from the MK, take a bus or monorail to a deluxe resort and call one from there.

Ah yes I forgot that about the bus so I guess Contemporary ---> DS ---> Resort if timing make sense.

Looks like I may now be doing 2 nights at the deluxe anyway and would still be there the night of the EEH. :)
