Are there any "upside down" loops on Expedition Everest??

no, there is nothing close to being upside down on it

Hey,

There is only one (1) ride in WDW that has loops. It is Rockin Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Though, I was there when they were building EE and it did have some pretty steep and sharp turns. They drops are HUGE and the height is wicked. It goes backwords... that's what makes it scary LOL!

Have fun!

Its easy to tell if a Disney coaster is going to go upside down or not.

Just look at the cars and what kind of passenger restraints it has.

If the ride is designed to go upside down (invert) the cars will have click-down over-the-shoulder/neck padded restraints (ala RnRC.)

Without these kind of restraints... no upside down section.

EE has no such restraints.

In Feb. and it "feels" like you are going upside down while going backwards, but its really not. :confused3 I think it mainly goes sideways in a loop.

This isn't always true. Busch Garden's Scorpion is an example of a ride with an inversion and a lapbar.

(edit to add) Flight of Fear in Paramount's Kings Island has several inversions and no over the shoulder restraints.

Indeed. Son of the Beast at Kings Island has a loop with a lapbar as well.

It's not very common, but it's out there!
