EE team vs individual

I was just seeing if anyone who raced before had a preference over registering as a team or individual? There are 3 of us so we don't know whether to register as 3 individuals, or one team and hope to find another very competitive person to join our one individual.

If we register as individuals will we each get a different scavenger hunt? That actually might be more fun...

I did EE last year with DD17 and am registered to do it again with her this year.

Single entry advantage:
You get to start in the first waves = less crowding. There would be nothing stopping you from sticking together during the event, at least until it came time to solve the clues.

Single entry disadvantage:
You have to figure clues out on your own, but they really aren't that difficult.

I don't remember how many different clue booklets were passed out, but the likelihood of all three of you getting the same clues is slim. They are handed out after the obstacle course.

I am seriously thinking about doing it as individuals- 2 adults and hopefully 2 17 year olds. The teens will blow us away in the 5K but we could all have fun together working out the clues.

Are all the clues on the original 5 K or are they throughout the park?

The clue are at/near the 5k route as it runs through the park. And, I think the clues are ordered front-to-back so you don't have to dash all back and forth through the park.

I had friends who were a group of three last year -- registered as one individual & a team. Due to how the corral the race with individuals first -- they never saw each other during the race.
