EE strategy ?

For those who have been in the last few months.....

Does the old strategy still hold that if you are not going to a park on its EE day, you should avoid it all together as it stays more crowded for the day???

And is the EE times really just one hour prior to regular park opening? Under the old EE it was more like 1 1/2 hours... we had learned that the hard way, getting there one hour early and missed gate opening already!

The parks opened only 1 hour before posted time. We found that it was good to go to the EE park for the morning and then leave by noon to go to another park. The parks seemed to be very crowded by noontime.
