Does anyone know if the Expedition Everest single ride line will become a permanant feature once the ride officially opens or is it just something that they're trying out during the soft opening period? It's sort of confusing since you enter at the fast pass entrance and then get a separate ticket. So I'm wondering if there will be a normal procedure for it eventually, like with Test Track or Mission: Space, or if it will be just taken away completely. I personally hope that they keep the single rider line. I don't mind if my group gets separated if it means that we get on the ride faster! :yay:

Was planning on running over for a FP first thing, but a Single Rider Line would help SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Anyone know? :confused3

I only have a one time experience with single rider line at EE. I ended up waiting longer than we would have in the stand by line. It is not like MS or TT single rider lines. You have to wait for a party of 3 or 5 to go through the line. That day there were none.

I rode the coaster a couple of times on Sunday afternoon (March 19), the second time as a single rider. I simply walked up to the CM standing at the fastpass enterance, asked if there was a single rider line, and he handed me a ticket and motioned me into the fastpass line. I was amazed to find that my total waiting time was about five minutes from CM to seat on a coaster. I would be very surprised if the single rider feature were to become permenant however, as it doesn't seem to me that it would be very useful in loading the coasters because there simply aren't that many parties of 3 or 5 entering from the standby line. (Just my thought, and I've been known to be wrong a time or two.)

Enjoy.

In my experience, the single rider line isn't in use first thing in the morning and an hour or so before the park closes. Sometimes I was able to get on the ride quickly using it, and other times it took longer, since it's mainly waiting for parties with odd numbers. I was just curious if this was going to be in use all the time once the ride officially opens, like with Test Track and Mission: Space.
