EE questions

My guide book doesn't have any specific info on EE. What are the height requirements for this ride. I have one son 48 inches but have another that will probably be about 41-42 inches.

second what is the scare factor on this ride. my 5/o is really hit and miss. Sometimes he will ride lots and other times he cries when we get in line. So if that is the case will probably do a baby swap.

I assume all rides at wdw have baby swap option.

I haven't had a chance to ride EE yet (september trip). Anyway, the height requirement is 44".

The "major" thrill-rides that have height requirements do, but certainly not ALL rides.

No swap on Dumbo, or Pooh, or Ellen's Energy Adventure, or Safari, or Its Tought to Be a Bug, or...

We just got back last weekend and had a blast. I rode EE five times it was great. My DS (8) and my friends son (7) would not go on. Both go on SpM and BTM. My DS went on RnR and was ok but won't go again, so clearly it is not his cup of tea. I would let let him take a good look at it and make his decision before you get in line. It is a lot like BTM but a bit faster and a much bigger drop, as well as the additional feature of a significant time riding backwards. I didn't think it was that scary but I love coasters. We did the baby swap, one parent goes on and the other waits at entrance and gets a fast pass when the first parent is done. The fastpass line at the time was only a 5 minute wait so it wasn't bad.

I was thinking I would get fast pass for all 4 tickets. Dh and Ds (8y/o) would go then baby swap and myself and Ds (8 y/o) would go again.

The way I'm reading this first 2 would go on fast pass. Then 2nd ride would be on new fast pass.

I'm brand new to the wdw thing with kids. So any suggestions on how to ride with split parties would be appreciated.

In your case you could have DH and DS go on first and you would get one FP to ride in baby swap. That would still leave you with two FPs to ride again. If you really wanted I guess you could do the babyswap again too because if you did you would end up with another babyswap FP.
