What an amazing trip you all are having. The kids have such great interaction with the characters and this will make MAGICAL memories for all of you. My DD19's very first memories are of her first trip to WDW when she was 22 months old and I love that you all will have these kinds of memories too. Enjoy your day today! :grouphug:

Can your trip get any better??!!!!!

What an amazing time - and I am so enjoying living it vicariously through your fantastic live reports. There's DIS-dedication!

I wish my dh wanted to go to WDW every year (or ever--he just doesn't love it)! It sounds like you are having a wonderful time. I'm a little sad that tomorrow is your last day.

I hope you have a great time on the FMT! We did it for ds's 5th birthday and loved it.

Beth

Have fun today, so sad that it's your last day but enjoy. I will miss your daily reports. This is how I am getting my Disney fix, thanks. Can't wait for the pictures, enjoy :goodvibes

Came back to the GF and went shopping. Got Amy's antenna topper (and congrats to her if she's reading this!).

Thank you so much Denise! :goodvibes

Sounds like another great day. I'm so happy you get to plan a trip as soon as you return...it helps with the withdrawal! :teeth:

Amy :)

Oh no!! You said those awful words..."tomorrow is our last day." Live it up!! I am so happy for you all that you are having a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing.

Denise - thanks for all the daily posts! I feel like I am still there. :sunny: (and not sitting in 5 degree weather :guilty: ) So glad you all are having such a wonderful time. :wizard: I will be interested to hear how the FMT goes. That is something I have had in the back of my mind to try, but just never looked into it.

I have a husband that is also hooked on the GF!!(poor me princess: ) I stayed 3 Poly nights with the girls and thought about staying there a few nights in March, but he won't budge, he want the GF RPC. Just try RPC next time & get your DH hooked on that one! ;) that's what I did. :)

Thank you once again for taking the time out from your lovely vacation to keep many of us happy and out of the "Christmas Blues" that can attack at this time of year.

I am so HAPPY that ur husband is hooked on GF....not to knock DVC....but who wants a kitchen while on vacation when you can have Concierge GF just to make hubby happy :)

Actually the ideal trip to us is the Grand Floridian and DVC and the best thing about that kitchen is not having to use it. :)

i agree we don't use the kitchen either!! I just love having the two rooms!! DS has a dairy allergy and I have a diet coke addiction so it is nice to have the big fridge!!

It would so take the fun out of our vacation trying to keep Mom from guilting out over having a kitchen and NOT using it...so we force her out to dinner and I take care of the laundry while on vacation....DB and I do ALL the planning...then I plug all the plans into Mom's PDA!

TripleFigs...what does the GF Christmas Ornament look like? Wonder if they will have them when we are there next month? That would be cool on my Disney wreath!

Kate, if you add up the money for the room at the GF for two trips, wouldn't that alone be about 1/2 the total of DVC?? Seems like the equivalent of 4 GF concierge trips would be DVC. Am I off?

What a beautiful family you have! You give so many people pleasure with your designs it's great to hear you are having a wonderful trip.

I think you are right!!

I just priced it - 4 trips at 7 nights to GF would pay for 150 points

and the days of trying to convince DH to go to WDW would eb over - and you could stay at places like - BWV, OKW, WL, in rooms that are huge and comfy!!!

So if they were to take 4 GF concierge trips, instead of DVC, there money is gone.

If they bought DVC, they would have like nearly 40 years of a "free" room in Disney (not including dues) - how does John not think that's a good idea???

Kate and Marti, You should work for DVC. Imagine the commission. :cool1:

Maybe he doesn't like his money?!?!?

and you know with triplets - I doubt they would ever really have anything else to spend it on!!

or maybe he is just afraid that some day we would talk Denise into sharing a grand villa with us!! (your 3, my 4, her 5 - makes 12!!!)

HOLY COW!! That would be such a great trip!!! I think we'd better stop hijacking this thread and get back "home"!!!!

Well if she would post her pics from today - then we could talk about her day!! :rotfl:

I'll go home now! :goodvibes

Denise,

The kids look so happy! And so do you and John. :goodvibes :goodvibes I'm soooo happy that you are having a trip of a lifetime. The memories will last forever. :sunny: :cloud9:

And your husband said my favorite words.. "next time." I've got chills. I keep asking my family about DVC. And all my kids will say is, does the DVC have Chef Dick? No, then our next trip is back to the Poly!!

We were sooooooo spoiled by conceirge, they just can't think of another trip without it. Would rather miss a year and go next December. Who'd a thunk it?

So your husband has been spoiled too! :smooth:

I'm just so glad your family is having such a nice time... :cheer2: :cheer2:

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share your vacation with us. And BTW, your shirts look great!!!! Good job!!!! :cloud9: :cloud9:
