edited (fun) photo of the day

The main thing was using the cloning brush to duplicate some of the background and erase those pesky folks who wandered into my picture. It was one of the first things I did with my photo editing software--I didn't do a very good job, but it was fun playing around with the software.

You know, I saw the cloning brush option on Photo Explosion (edit - paint - clone), but hadn't messed with it yet. I think I might need to give it a whirl, and see what I can do with it.
Great job with your picture. Knowing that it's been edited, I can see many of the areas that you changed, but if I were just looking at the new photo without the knowledge that it had been changed, I doubt I would have ever seen anything out of the ordinary.
Oh, and BTW, welcome to the boards (especially our edited picture thread)!!!

OK, here goes.... starting small - though me being creative takes a long time

Great first photo!!! If I recall correctly, adding stars was one of the first features I added too when I started using Photo Explosion. Now I'm hooked on editing! So be warned, it's very addictive.

WOW!!! You are going to be my hero if I can get this to work! I've been trying to figure out how to do this on Photo Explosion for months! I use the program alot and have not figured this out! We really need to do a call and share photo explosion tips. :woohoo: Do you use Memories on TV? I've shot a couple of weddings and then put the photos to music as a gift for the couple. I want to put my last trip to Wishes but need to order the cd. Hope I can figure it out!!!:goodvibes

You can do it. Believe me, if I can figure it out, than anybody can. :thumbsup2
I've not done much in the way of video editing (although I do have over 6 hours of WDW videos to start working on). I use a program called Pinnacle (version 8 I believe). It's not the most powerful, but it serves for what I need it for.
Good luck in trying toget your Wishes CD working.

You've inspired me to try this out, so here is what I came up with. It's not the best I've ever seen, but it is interesting:

shot 1 - My daughter at the Pirate's Tutorial, surrounded by other kids:

shot 2 - My daughter without the boy behind her:

shot 2- My daughter is now alone: (I think I tried to bite off a little too much with this one)

Man are there a lot of possibilities to explore with these options. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much--about the picture and for the welcome. I've been a lurker for a long time with a few posts now and again. I'm starting plans for a September trip now.

Good Morning.
Here's my offering for today:

Here's another one for today, a simple collage of various tigers (tiggers) that you can find at WDW:

I hope you feel better soon, but until then, enjoy the photos. :thumbsup2 These photos (although at times a bit difficult) are really fun to make. It's great coming up with an idea, and then seeing it come to fruition.

I put a twist on this image simply by increasing the shawdows and pulling down the color saturation a little...
