Not working for me these days. I have had the same carpooler for 4 years now. This year there was such a change in that family. The mother lost weight and all of a sudden became a new person??? not for the better. She is so self involved. God love her I just am soo over it!

A couple times I was in the driveway, she comes out of the house on her cell, doesn't even look at me and got in her car without even a wave
My DD said she didn't notice her braces had been of for over a mouth LOL. That is 2 children and the DH too! No one noticed

One of her kids are usual sick, cause ride changes all the time. My job doesn't allow for me to be flexable so I had to dismiss DD soooo many times! They have made her late a lot too.

Poor DH picks her up and has to hear from the DH how much yard work her did yada yada... DH had just worked all day and drove 40 mins to get DD, so he is like tortured at that point. Their DD can only miss 3 more days or she will be kept back, she has been sick for the last two! This am the mother told me their DD's tounge is all bumpey, since Friday and the DR didnt know why... yikes! Now I dont want my DD over their after school (they keep my DD till DH gets there) but I will have to dismiss her and be late for work to get her! Tomorrow is the last "full day" and it seems every day is something!

I am soooo over this carpooler situation, school commute and dealing with a family like this. Poor family has changed so much and it is the weirest thing, cuz for 3 years they were fine.

I CAN'T WAIT TILL THIS IS OVER!!!!!!!

How old are the children in that household? Maybe they are having a harder time to adjusting to the kids as they are growing?
Do you get a break from them over the summer? If so the break may be what everyone needs and hopefully they will have it together in the fall.

Any excuse will do. I would't let another family put my child or my family in a bad situation, health or otherwise.

Oh I forgot to say we are NOT going to same school next year for this reason. I cant get her there and this is just not working. So yes, we are moving on.. that is why its like... hurry and end already!! DH and I are just sick over the situation and months ago, set up the changes. So we are done in 7 more school days

One child is 3 grades older than mine and one is 4 grades younger... so they aren't friends, no. The parents seem to not know how to say no to these kids, so the small one is very... ummm hard to deal with, and the other is ok, but this year has had problem after problem, school work not done, grounded all the time for that. She is out EVERY month she gets her "thing" (she uses it trust me) and even my lil DD is like jessh! The father is ALWAY home sick with something. I dunno, they were never like this. Its sad.

They seem to want to gbe done raising the kids. That is how I see it. Its strange. They are so into who has what and stuff. Keeping up with the Jones I guess. I just can't relate.
