I was referred to this thread and glad that I was, I can vouch for the fact that Kyle is a hottie and I get to say that I smeared superman ice cream all over his.....ladies get your minds out of the gutter.....it was his face although i can dream can't I. Thanks everyone for the kinds words, didn't know I was so popular among the DIS ladies But I promise, I won't let it go to my head.


As for your question Shep, I'm not sure what I'll be doing in the Smokies, I'm going down to visit my nephews and do a little spring shopping at the outlet malls. I'd love to someday hike to the top of Mt LeConte but I don't think that will happen this trip. A bike ride around Cades Cove sounds fun but thats 11 miles, too far for me. I'd rather just take a 5 mile hike to one of the waterfalls.

The Cades Cove bike trip is a lot easier than a lot of the hikes, and it can be done under 1 hour....Possibly the best way to go through Cades Cove...How about Ramsey Cascades??? 8 miles & strenuous.. ...this will be our first trip with out the girls..

I'm surprised jason hasn't jumped on this thread yet..

Gotta have a hijacking every now & then..

The bike trip is still too much for me. I got a my Budda Belly to carry around and I don't think it would approve of me biking that far. A Ramsey Cascades hike isn't that bad, I've been there before, a beautiful hike.

Hope we find parking for Ramsey's..We drove back there once and there wasn't anywhere to park...Amanda biked Cades Cove while pregnant.. she didn't know it at the time...but later we found out why it was hard on her..
If you ever get a chance to see Mingo Falls in Cherokee go for it..
1/2 mile roundtrip...It's just outside park boundaries...It would be beautiful as long as it wasn't drought season.. then it is still isn't too bad..
